Clark is trapped in a box, so they need to rescue him. Chloe takes Clark's hot cousin, Kara, to the easily accessible fortess of solitude to get her powers, and memory, back. So Jor-El electrocutes Kara until the bitch snaps out of it.

Laura Vandervoort's Supergirl was far and away better than the god awful version on the CW. Laura's Supergirl had earned that title many times, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl has not yet.

I don't know whether to blame the CW writers, Melissa herself, or both...but that show was one huge PC-driven radically-feministic mess. I have nothing at all against strong female characters, but that show's version of Kara acted like she was superior and entitled.
