People keep saying that Kara was poorly used, she wasn't. She was there for Clark to learn more about himself as a Kryptonian. They could have made a spinoff where she says and goes back to detroit. But, they didn't. Show was about Clark and his Journey to become Superman. So, they really didn't misuse Kara at all.
The actual LAST scene was later, when she puts on the Legion ring and disappears into the future. Too bad this didn't spin-off a "Supergirl and the Legion" show, how cool would that be?
i would appreciate it , if they do a side mini series. just between kara and kal el. it's just interesting how the chemistry between them works so well.
Unforchanetly no, the Kandor she's talking about is Clark's Kryptionian father's cloning device in the orb that steals Clark's powers and destroys the fortress.
This was the actual ending: Clark says to kara "I know I'll never see you ever again is it weird if cousins well you know ". Kara tells Clark "no, it's perfectly normal for kryptonians to leave a parting gift". Clark is very relieved to hear this, Kara adds "But I am from the city of candor and that is considered disgusting no wonder Lana left you!" She immediately flies away. She immediately flies away.
I actually liked Kara here. She seemed mature, more grounded, finally like her comic self yet in Season 10, she was a waste, not to mention they sent her off to the future without saying goodbye to Clark!! Lame!
1:40 I'm gonna be honest, out of the two cousins, only Kal - El and his House continued and preserved the bloodline. Kon-El/Superboy, Kal and Lex's clone. Jon-El/Superboy, Kal and Lois' son. Mar-El, Superboy/Conner Kent's daughter, Martha Kent, in the comic book series. The Kryptonian bloodline is golden on Clark's end, but I don't see Kara contributing much. Does Supergirl even have a son or a daughter? If she does in the canon or in the other alternate universes, let me know. Superman and Wonder Woman have a daughter in an alternate universe, can't remember if she's from Earth-27 or something, but it still counts.
I actually don't mind her being on and off again, but wish that when she was on, she was being all super and not weak. But like i said, the fight/action scenes on smallville were underwhelming compared to Buffy, Angel, Nikita, Arrow. But I guess that's not the point either. Lois Lane had more martial arts action than Kara, and Laura Vandervoot (?) I heard actually knows a little martial arts. Oh well.
I'm sorry, but I wouldn't agree with that. Her appearance was very awesome. I would have been mad if they made a regular on the show and have her attend Smallville High. She had to leave at times to find herself of she plans to do with her life since she is here on Earth.
She was poorly used... she barely did anything super. But then again, all the fight sequences and battles scenes on Smallville were very underwhelming. The climaxes were very anti-climactic
+Arrownoir -- Laura Vandervoort, the actress who played Kara Zor-El in Smallville, will appear in an upcoming episode of Supergirl as the villain Indigo, producers revealed today at the Television Critics Association. The character will appear in the fifteenth episode of the show's first season, which will follow on the heels of what are expected to be two anticipated episodes. Indigo is described by producers as "a living, strong-willed supercomputer that was sentenced to Fort Rozz after turning against the people of Krypton. Now on Earth, Indigo will let nothing stand in her way."
+Arrownoir -- What Laura Vandervoort thinks of the Supergirl TV show: "This is a completely different version of Supergirl than we had on Smallville," Vandervoort says. "On Smallville, Kara was an adolescent, immature version of Supergirl. She thought she knew it all and thought she could take care of things on her own, not to mention she didn't wear the tights and the cape. It was pre-Supergirl, whereas on this show, Melissa is playing the character from the comics. She's trying to figure out her powers and her place in this world. It's almost more like a Clark Kent character, where she's working a day job and wears the glasses and that whole thing." "I was just excited that this show finally got its day because there was talk eight years ago about doing a Supergirl series and it just didn't happen," Vandervoort says. "This is exactly how I imagined a Supergirl series back then."
You mean Pentagon. It started in S2 and 3 when Clark got burned on the chest. Then S6 when Clark met a friend of his father's that didn't age because she was in the Phantom zone, she had a crystal in the shape of 5 sides and a stylized S. Then S7 Kara has the symbol on a necklace and bracelet. In S9 Clark starts wearing it on his chest. Look for S9 trailer.
