The Moment when Clark told Lois his secret was amazing as Lois was smiling and was jumping on Clark. Much Better Than When Clark told Lana his secret. Because Lois is waiting until it was on Clark’s Terms to tell her his secret. But with Lana she is basically forcing Clark to tell her everything about his powers identity and origin

I did really love season 10 overall. I completely agree, Homecoming is the best episode in the entire series. I will never forget Brainiac 5’s words “a hero was made in the moment , not by questioning the past or fearing what’s to come.” It was an episode that really hits on the nail not only for Clark but any viewer who has felt the same. Also Lex’s and Lionel’s return were so epic!!! I really did like the Finale, and I was on tears by the very end. Thank you for your reviews for the ten seasons. Just wanted to say how much I LOVE this theological review series! I watched all 10 seasons (and S11 comics) of Smallville for the first time about a month ago, and I haven't had anyone to "nerd out" and talk about it with! Now I get the chance to relive my favorite moments and see things from a new and thoughtful perspective that I hadn't considered before. Keep up the amazing work Durban!

When I go out to do public evangelism (open-air preaching on campuses, engaging in conversations, etc.) & preach at church, I’ll use movie & show references (such as Smallville) & tie it into the Gospel. Into our need for a Savior. And what I love is how our world’s love & interest for superheroes points us to spiritual truth. It’s a way that the Holy Spirit points us to the fact that we truly are in eternal danger because of our sin, the reality that we can’t save ourselves, & the truth that we all need a perfect superhero or Savior to do for us what we can’t do ourselves which is to deliver us. Bro. Keep on sharing these great insights & pointing both Christian & non-Christian to Jesus Christ alone 👊🏾

It was a good idea of the show to turn Brainiac into a good guy and have him be the voice of wisdom to Clark. That episode was probably everyone’s favorite episode and one of the top 10/ top 5 best episode of the show smallville.

Just finished my re-watch of the entire series and I think in retrospect, Season 10 is pretty underrated. I know A LOT of people were disappointed by it, especially the two part finale but at its core, it's one of the most emotionally rewarding seasons since the early years. The VRA/Suicide Squad arc could have been better and I would have loved to have seen more of the Unholy Trinity working as Darkseid's prophets by seeing them corrupt a lot more people or battling Clark and the team, but there are a lot of really good episodes here like the premiere and the 200th episode, "Homecoming"! Loved seeing Zod come back as his original and clone self in one in "Dominion" and while the finale left A LOT to be desired by most, I think its very well written and executed despite some lackluster final battles between Clark and the heroes vs Darkseid and his minions. Not to mention, Clark was determined, courageous, in command and more inspiring than ever throughout the season! What more can you ask for in the final season of one of your old favorite shows!? :)

Can’t believe I am just now seeing this review is up man. Yea I’m with u on the suit stuff. That’s why I took certain things from season 8 to 10 and using edits of Tom in the suit and glasses more makes my finale episode.

I know this might sound insane but aside from the desaad scenes and freak of the week scenes this is my favorite season, everyones story and everything is wrapped up, Clark is finally becoming Superman and I just love the Lionel and Ultra-man stuff

The Superman saga is a heaven to earthly story with a heavenly meaning"-unknown- So here we are Season 10 of the greatest superhero ever. Starting off with Lazarus, a resurrection of Clark and Lex. A trial by fire ends this epic season opener saving both Lois from the corn field and catching the Daily Planet planet. Metaphor that this season he both carriers the world on his shoulders and will save it. 200th episode is flawless. I believe the helicopter save is a tribute to the Superman the Movie epic save and to that I love it even more. Happy Thanksgiving with future in laws in Ambush. Michael Ironside was a fantastic choice as a rough and tough General. Oliver coming forward as the Green Arrow was great. If anything, I think in that moment he had more courage than Clark. His speech in Homecoming sums up his character from his introduction in season 6. We don't need critics hiding behind a computer screen...we need leaders doing something. In Abandoned, Tess making a Luthor is a fantastic choice. It makes sense that Lionel that wouldn't want a daughter if he thinks legacy can only be found through sons. The Mirror universe episode Luthor is another great look at the what if scenario. Clark raised as a Luthor is like nod to the graphic novel Superman Red Son. Hackman dying in Icarus is another great episode and another somber funeral for a friend. John Schneider makes his return and I love it. I love how final season pull out all the stops and just go for it. His return in the opener but also the episode Kent. Clark Luthor switching realities with our hero and dealing with a bitter Johnathan Kent. Dominion gets our Clark and Oliver trapped in the Phantom Zone only to be held captive by Zod. The episode story lines of both Oliver and Clark and Tess and Lois is fantastic. Seeing Lois's devotion for Clark and the trust that Oliver and Clark had to escape was a joy to watch. Now the 2 camps on the finale. I'm on the side of it was a great sendoff. A true finale of that encapsulates the entire show that most shows just cant do. Clark seeing Lex in the ashes of the mansion. Standing opposite eachother as they always will. The best of montage before he learns to fly isn't just fan service but drives the point home that all these episodes and seasons and years where all for a point. They were his trials and the verdict is in..he has passed with "flying colors"(red blue and yellow). Both fathers present as he became not just a man but the Superman. Saving Air Force One..another nod to the iconic Superman the Movie. Throwing Apocalypse into space ( I also see as a Superman Returns nod but that's just me). The closing moments..the John Williams theme starts to build and Clark rips open his shirt to reveal the S is for me a awesome book end to a show that asked from the Pilot episode..are you man or Superman...and we got our answer in spades. In conclusion (sorry it's so long) "Always hold onto Smallville" is a line not just for Clark but for us. Remember the trials that made you. Don't fear the future and don't dwell on the past, a Hero is made in the moment. And if you ever lose hope all you simply have to do is "Look up in the Sky" and know that God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit love you! Thank you Duban for this labor of love I look forward to 2021 with you!

Luthor Kent Homecoming Dominion SO MANY good episodes this season

Loved it.

Ah the final season of my favorite show of all time Smallville. Still makes me sad wish it was like the Simpsons and it never ended. Awesome pose in the thumbnail Durbania that tells it all. This seasons a mixed bag for me I like it but I'm also disappointed we didn't get to actually see Clark fight Darkseid. Like the Doomsday fight with the budget constraints but this to a greater extent cause in Superman the animated series which I watched before Smallville, Darkseid to me was Superman's biggest enemy. He was the one who physically took Superman to his limits and he (spoilers for Superman the animated Series) killed that cop I forgot his name the one that was always giving Superman a hard time. Now Brainiac caused the destruction of Krypton so if you want to say he was the bigger villain fair enough but he got his due in Smallville. The writers did him justice. Once we started getting the bigger villains after season 4 and we moved away from the freak of the week storylines. We got Brainiac, Zod, and Bizarro my mind instantly went to Darkseid. When are we gonna see Darkseid. Cause as I said Superman does not get more f'd up in the animated series then when he's fighting Darkseid. And sadly we didn't even get to see the fight in Smallville. His minions don't look as cool as in the animated series either so that's disappointing but it's okay I'll take it for what it was at least they tried. Another disappointing thing, which I understand why they did this but as someone who wants to see Clark kick ass just as much as I want to see the romances it was disappointing when in the second or third to last episode a bunch of villains sit at a round table and plot how they're gonna attack Metropolis working together. Which made me think oh cool we're gonna see Clark fight all these guys on his own soon. Then I thought "oh wait no the finales coming up I don't think he'll have time for them with Darkseid coming. The writers are probably implying that they'll attack once he becomes Superman so we won't actually see the fight. That's okay the Darkseid fight will be 100% better than that fight would've been". Unfortunately not but enough with the negatives. Things I like this season are Clark and Lois's romance. When I fully come to terms with Clark not getting back with Lana I can really enjoy their love story. My memories fuzzy but there was an episode where Clark and Lois left Metropolis I believe and they were just traveling together when a crazy guy who was capturing couples captured Lois and then Clark had to save her. I need to watch again but that episode was my favorite story this season for their romance. I also love that Clark gets married in the finale. Jonathan would be so proud of his son. Another thing I like is that they show how far Clarks come since season 1. For the first few seasons every year Clark learned a new power that was locked within him. Season 1 he learned x-Ray vision and his skin hardened even more so, season 2 heat vision, then super hearing and ice breath. Then this season as Darkseid's planet is about to collide with earth Clark shows us more strength then he ever has before when he single handedly pushes that planet out of orbit. Amazing I've always loved how they did that to show how far he's come. Also Lex coming back is so awesome. Actual Lex not some clone or some Lex fill in. No offense Tess Mercer your great just not Michael Rosenbaum great. And last great thing among so many other great things that I'll say is the biggest positive of the season and the thing that makes me forgive every mistake any season has made, Clark getting his Superman outfit from the Fortress of Solitude. Holy crap that was amazing. And just as amazing as when Clark runs off the roof of the Daily Planet in his reporter clothes only to show us he's got the Superman outfit hidden underneath with the iconic Superman music playing. The thing we all wanted to see since the start of the show. Congratulations Clark you've done it your destiny is fulfilled. Thanks to Tom Welling as well for playing my favorite character of all time. I'm sure Christopher Reeve was looking down at you from heaven proud.

Can you do a top 10 from worst to best seasons of smallville

I really enjoyed season 10 how Clark completes his destiny as super man but especially I really loved how lex came back from the dead with his cloning project it was auesome I even liked seeing Conner Kent super boy it was cool

Can you also do a top ranking of all lead character of the show. That is showed on the intro. And could you also do a top ranking of all the main villains of this show. Not freak of the week villains. But main villains/Antagonist of all the seasons in this show.

I thought the finale was okay, I wish we got more but the season was great overall.

The Final Season truly was fantastic and triumphant in so many ways, I really did love the mirror verse episode but the one thing that's always puzzled me is how did Lois, Oliver and Tess survive not being killed by Clark Luthor for so long, I mean yeah they had Kryptonite but when he threatened them they had no Kryptonite, I mean did he just have a very long chat with them until shit truly got real Lol 😂

Just started watching season 10 enjoying it so far I struggled with 8 and especially season 9 but have to say its an enjoyable fun season what a way to end smallville I am a bit disappointed that we don't see Clark in full superman suit but I am enjoying this season

10 seasons. 10 seasons! And I never saw Clark as Superman properly! We were robbed.

i believe it was in Tom's contract he couldnt wear the suit. "No tights, no flights" its also why in the crisis cross over, he was depowered. Because again, no tights and no flight.

Honestly, I checked out of the series at this point. However, I'm gonna collect the final 2 seasons of Smallville to complete my collection. I've still got faith in the CW Arrowverse despite the criticism that it's been given. Sad when Tess died in the series finale. Loved Supergirl's return. Didn't really care for Darksied as the big bad of the season. Wished we could see Lex in the suit from Challenge Of The Superfriends(1978).

I didn't like that Lex lost his memories, because it erases all his character development. It's a nosense

Even though Season 7 and 9 is my favorite seasons. Season 10 hold a special place in my heart. A amazing series.

I mentioned last time that Finale was the first episode I ever saw. So I had to watch the whole series in reverse.

I thought the Conner Kent storyline was done well

Even the Clois Proposal was 10 times better than Clana.
