Lois crying is the most heartbreaking thing you will ever see- the way she selflessly loves people is insane

Black Canary's line at the end "...you have lousy taste in women" was a bit of an easter egg. In the comics, Green Arrow and Black Canary are married.

the clois moment near the end of this episode is one of my all time favorites. i hate seeing lois cry and you’re right, it’s hard to watch because we rarely see this vulnerable side of her. but you’ll notice that when we do it’s often with clark and that’s one of the things i love about their relationship so much. lois has always had this tough exterior - it’s how she learned to compartmentalize her emotions when she was young and it’s a product of her upbringing. however, she can let her guard down and be vulnerable around clark because he sees through her and understands her like no one else does

Yep, Clark looked and decided to save Black Canary instead of Lex getting shot by that arrow. Big move right there.

There was a writers strike for this season. I think some things got shifted around in the 2nd half away from where things may have originally been going. So if you're confused about the Lana/Clark direction after the Lex and Bizarro thing, I think it may be due to that and they felt they had to rush an easier resolution.

I love how when Clark sped into the room to save everyone knocked the weapons out of the way then he looked at Lex and was like, nah I'll just let him take the knife.

He wore his blue coat/shirt at the end of the episode (when he was talking to Lois) to show you he has more the just the red one.

We stan a man that's not afraid to cry.

Clark is a Power Ranger confirmed since he wears the same two colors every episode.

These last few episodes is where the season gets especially difficult. It's not easy to fix Clana at all... Lana was and is just looking for understanding and forgiveness... and Bizarro was able to look at her without judgement. Lana meant it when she told the phantom as soon as he walked in the barn that she wanted to give up her obsession and make amends... and at the same time, he was open to helping her get Lex put away (which honestly, Clark should be more interested in that as well). Bizarro played the Clark that she wanted to see. Lana knows she's done some messed up stuff, she knows she's been wrong, she sees every failure she's made... and she's trying to drag herself out of this pit of rage and despair, meanwhile everyone around her looks at her with judgement for failing their moral checks (she has a point about people coming to her for help). Sis is deeply broken and trying to fix herself with very little support. She's not perfect, she's not always right... she's a picture of Eve in the garden, being tempted by the devil, falling into sin, and cast out of the garden--she can never get back the innocence she lost but nevertheless she brings forth life from the ashes of ruin and she looks forward to redemption, seeks salvation. And Clark won't give up on her. To me, it's beautiful because it's about mending brokenness.

Have to admit the music ending with Clana is pretty teary!

I love your Clana feels man I am so there with you. At this point not sure if I even want to root for them but still love and cry for them

One other thing. Lana and Clark, that is the most toxic relationship I've ever seen. The writers dragged that relationship on for much TOO long. It got to the point where I was hoping Lana ended up trapped in another dimension or lost in time or something.

this episode tought me i need to step up my gang and start putting the right away and the wrong to just be my self and now that i really want this so ill just adapt to achieve that goal

I know he's watching Arrow now. Remember this episode. Black Canary weighs heavy in Arrow as the seasons go on. The character of Laurel Lance is this character in Arrow. It's not a spoiler. The audience always knows what she becomes but not how she got that way.

This season is really rough on the women having to deal with situations like this. Season 8 is basically the recovery season. Just damn!

Clark, you just said that Lana is only honest with you when she feels threatened. Shortly after that, when it looks like she is leaving you. hereyou are finally spilling out all your honesties about what happened while you exiled yourself in Metropolis. Also like your honesty to Lana about your identity when you felt threatened of losing her for good good to Lex at the wedding. Through it all, from beginning to end, I LOVE ME SOME CLANA!!!

I can't believe the shamelessness of Clana shippers to claim it's better than Clois *under this video* lmao!! That ship was a MESS and it's spelled out WHY, by characters themselves, in this very episode. You have to be blindly delusional to insist otherwise 😂 Especially after the final seasons 😂 Also, Clark telling Lana "you're supposed to know me better than anyone" is such a parallel to when he tells Lois years later "you know me better than anyone", when she proves that she DOES indeed!

The whole dual identity thing, yeah Lois would be terrible at that...and she will never be left behind!

Lionel definitely knows lex better than anyone including himself.

I am fully with Lana over that fight they had. Clark has been super hypocritical. He frequently keeps big secrets from people he loves and only reveals them when he thinks he absolutely has to. Then, when someone does the same to him, he gets mad. 🙄

So Lana never apologized to Lois and last episode told Chloe to back off and she didn't know Clark, but had no issue calling her to stay with her....again. That's always been my issue with Lana she treats Chloe crazy and no one seems to notice or care. Yet Chloe is the loyal friend always defending her even against Clark.

Every single episode where Lana does something someone says something the next to make her the victim. Watching Clark simp all these seasons was annoying.
