Clark: "Trust me Lex. There's nothing that is lost that can't be found again." This statement could have a double meaning in regards to Lex finding his goodness again AND the fact that Clark found Lana again after Lex repeatedly telling him that he lost her.
4x07 Lex: For what i learn there's nothing lost that can be found again! 7x12 Clark: Trust me Lex that's nothing lost that can be found again! I just love this parallels!
That Lex and Lana scene was brutal for him to see. Also reminded me of last episode when she said he was her only love. Everyone only seeing her as lex victim forgetting she did love lex, and Whitney and Jason.
I really love this episode, it always makes me wonder, if Lex grew up to be what little Alexander is, would there instead be a little evil Lex inside Alexander representing the darkness that's there but hasn't taken over. I always imagine Clark must've been sick to his stomach when Lex forced him to watch that sex memory, knowing that someone you love has done the deed with someone else feels awful enough but then if you see the grizzly details in action, I cannot begin to think of the sheer intense nausea you'd feel.
Oh i would've died seeing that no joke when i love i love hard haha but yeah i believe Lex could've been a hero and a great partner to Clark if he grew up differently or other actions played out on a different path
@@lostgamer1261 i know! I get that Lex is only 1 way in the comics but come ON. There are many Lexs in many movies abd shows. I dont think it would hurt for one Lex to be written differently for once. In Smallville Clark couldve helped Lex pull out of the darkness. It be less predictable story and more interesting
That evil suit is gangsta and yes its not the best movie but the imagery and seeing the inside of serial killer's mind is why everyone is addicted to true crime shows
This is another episode that I think calls back to the episode, Memoria, and the episode Truth, where Lex tells Chloe who has that truth serum ability in that episode that he wants his dad to love him. And in Memoria at the end after Lionel finds out that Lillian killed Julian, I think Lionel almost tries to tell Lex that he loves him and Lex doesn't want to hear it, and walks away. Here, I think Lionel is trying to give a sincere "I love you." and Lex won't care now.
I think lex doesn't believe Lionel at this point at all. If Lionel tried harder to prove his love, maybe lex believed and give them a chance. But Lionel was too busy helping Clark
