"The whole time, how the hell did Lionel transport a goddamn castle?!" LOL Priceless. It was kind of in front of your face the whole time though. From the pilot episode when Clark and Lex had their first real conversation. Lex - "It's the Luthor ancestral home. Or so my father claims. He had it shipped over from Scotland stone by stone." Clark - "I remember. The trucks pulled in for weeks but nobody ever moved in." Lex - "My father had no intention of living here. He's never even stepped foot through the front gate." Clark - "So why'd he do it?" Lex - "Because he could" And now you know why he really did it.
And this is when season 4 comes into play as an Easter Egg callback. With the dad going into hiding while sending his family to the small town to keep an eye on Clark and doing some keeping the Luthors at bay. Yeah, I support that movement. Because the Luthors are becoming the evil and lost cause that they are. With the rest of the Veritas fading into the background and watching each other's backs, yeah, I can still hear Jonathan's and Pete's voice about the Luthors. They're speaking the real truth.
Dude, the fact that they transported the Castle to Smallville was mentioned by Lex Luthor to Clark Kent very early in Season 1 (I think in the very first episode of Season 1).
Clark let the secret of Veritas fall into the wrong hands he only just found our about it how about facing the fact they fucked up by letting Luther's into the group
