Smart Key Quick Diagnosis 

Thank You. Very informative. I recently started having problems. Sometimes my smart key works for the drivers door and sometimes it does not. It works fine for the passenger door. Hopefully I can narrow down the problem. I have a 2011 Camry XLE.

I paid $100 diagnostics to find out it was a $4 chinese CR battery for my imported Japanese van. WHAT A RACKET!!

I had the dealer replace a tire pressure monitor sensor in a 2009 Avalon with smart keys. Now the doors don’t automatically open when I’m nearby. I assume it’s a programming issue or they missed something? I don’t have a red light on my key fob.
