If glue is applied correctly the cloth will hold until it need’s replaced. I glue cloth every day and reclothed slate that has been glued for years that was still hard to pull off slate

i use an oscillating tool the blades will dull quickly but they are incredibly easy to clean the slate

if the glue can hold the stretch then i dont think that's a problem. besides, this guy is a DIAMOND TABLE PROFESSIONAL.

I take it you overlap a little when you fold to the middle before glueing.

Staples are the only way to do it right. Leave the glue for the bar box's.

Note to self... Let a pro do your table! I worked with laminates and contact adhesive for years but for an old guy, this shit looks hard! Can't you just lay it up and trim it with something? : )... The difference between a golf green and the fairway... : )

This method is not for a beginner, althought it is the best method period for stretching cloth

What kind of tool is the white handle tool. Looks like a roller with a blade. Where can this be bought?

the glue method is used when the table is not meant to be re-clothed. think"Collectors Item".
