our criminology class just did a 3 week project of carjackings. Our group had Chicago. It is a living document that basically searches RU-vid for the last 30 carjackings, filters by date, and then manually reviewed if the race of the perps are identifyable. As of today, last 47 carjackings all by black males working in teams of 2-4. Usually under the age of 35. Occasionally we see hispanics, but almost always black males. In San Diego we were protected by the fact that black males only represented 5% of the population, but in the last 5-8 years that has changed dramatically. Influx of illegals from South America, refugees from Katrina, have black males relocating to Southern California at a rate of 8 black males per every black female. That's why you see so many black males but RARELY a black female. Take notice next time you are at the beach, Fashion Valley mall, or ESPECIALLY the gaslamp.

1. Law needs to be changed, you do this crime you get a minimum 5 years in Jail. . 2. If they are green card holders or illegal, that person and their immediate family goes back to where they came from. This will put at end to this type of behavior. Law abiding citizens can not and should not be made feel victimized by this over and over again. All we need to do is keep things simple, we have a constitution that protects a law abiding citizen, all others if they don't like it, they know where the door is.

Here’s an idea….where is the security company that can manufacture a security system that immediately shuts all shopping doors closed in order to stop thieves from stealing more items in succession. Of course it would need to be done in a manner where anyone caught in its way would have enough seconds to get out of the way in time. The goal would be to stop mob theft.
