@@Barry-v3r falco is a weed and beer character because they are both downers that slow you down but keep you down (double entendre dair spike) as the foil to fox' adderall representing speed and hyper focus uppers that make you wanna jump out of your seat or usmash them into the skybox it's a pretty apt analogy actually that has a lot more notable points than my little summary
the cope shift from "there's no way Mang0 wins this because he's hungover" to "you know alcohol actually sometimes gives you an advantage because it slows you down" is so rich
i dont think thats what they were saying at all they were scoffing at someone else saying that being hungover makes them play better cause it slows them down there was no coping lud even made a joke about being hung over while driving heavy machinery
iBDW: Conscious competence The individual understands or knows how to do something. However, demonstrating the skill or knowledge requires concentration. It may be broken down into steps, and there is heavy conscious involvement in executing the new skill. MangO: Unconscious competence The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it has become "second nature" and can be performed easily. As a result, the skill can be performed while executing another task. The individual may be able to teach it to others, depending upon how and when it was learned.
@@chairman96 Is it part of that book? I’ve never read it. I’ve heard it’s quite good. Psychology mentions this learning model: “In psychology, the four stages of competence, or the "conscious competence" learning model, relates to the psychological states involved in the process of progressing from incompetence to competence in a skill. People may have several skills, some unrelated to each other, and each skill will typically be at one of the stages at a given time. Many skills require practice to remain at a high level of competence.”
At some point in commentary: “most players focus on improving their best, but for mango it’s almost like he focuses on improving how he plays at his worst”
It would actually make sense for him to do that if you think about it. At his best, he's #1 in the world and nobody can beat him, so what's the point in improving that?
Mang0 is just the drunken master of the game. Sometimes it wins him tourneys and sometimes he’s in the worst mood and just loses. But if he had his shit together. Oh boy
Why? A lot of these "pro gamers " practice regular substance abuse. Adhd meds are literal meth and if the truth were marketed, you're all a bunch of meth heads
Mang0 is playing like used to some years ago, total unpredictable aggro with some defence mixed in, maybe not optimal playstyle against everyone, but is kryptonite against cody who is playing like a robot
That was so entertaining. I'm a huge Melee fan, but I don't actively follow anyone except maybe Moist. Those edge locks and 45 degree holds when predicting a down+b.... incredible reaction times. Also, sometimes you wake up from a wild night after no sleep and are somehow in the zone lol He was clearly there in this vid
I think it’s weirdly true, it just depends on how you practice. I played a lot with my old roommate and sober I would stomp him, the more drinks we had the better he got and the worse I got
