Luke has discovered a new trend happening over on TikTok! it's called "Smash or Pass" and he wants to see if Ellen will Smash or Pass these bosses from the Dark Souls series.
Who will Ellen smash (with her sword) or pass (some lovely flowers)? Watch to find out!

I mean, they do sound like they have recurring, intensive, long-term medical issues. Not everyone's down to be on that ride, or well-suited to being supportive and helpful for it. @@confused9831 I don't think owning multiple swords is the problem, player characters usually have several in their inventory. It's utilizing multiple weapons at the same time that brings up concerns of overcompensating. If Corazon were dual wielding and using mage hand to triple wield, then he would be trying very hard to look bad-ass, potentailly overcompensating for some perceived shortcoming. He may have a perfectly valid tactical reason for employing so many weapons at the same time, but for the casual onlooker he would appear to be showing off, desparate for attention.

Some of these eligible bachelors have corrupted their souls for eternity waiting for someone like Ellen. Yeah, they may wield cursed blades and/or have more limbs than they legally should, but each has a heart of pure gold. I feel its unfair to dismiss them based solely on their ability to annihilate you over & over again.

Luke's face when he thought about Smash or Pass for the Orphan was hilarious, but remember: that DLC also has Lady Maria. She deserves all the flowers alone for being such an amazing boss fight. I was sad when I beat her, because I wanted to keep fighting her.

My issues with Wolnir have nothing to do with his lack of skin or oversized frame, but with that much jewelry, I have to wonder how vain and materialistic he might be. Then there's also that blasted dark fog which kills you if you get too close to him, really kills the vibe (and me) when we try to cuddle.

True, but there's actually a reasonably simple skip you can do to avoid that first fight entirely. Using that same elevator that takes you to his room in the Archives, you send it back then jump onto the railing as it descends. You might take some fall damage but if timed correctly you can then use that to get off at another point. And then move on to break his precious crystal tree and smash him properly.

@@archer8492 I need to get properly into the game. I keep being distracted by others (Elden Ring, Bloodborne, etc) and I'm getting the hang of parrying and all. I only know about Emma being a boss because of looking up the endings to make sure I don't set something in motion I didn't want to do (like not doing the shura ending and such).

@@archer8492 I had started 1 save, but I got myself in trouble in the Hirata Estate and I hadn't gotten the hang of parrying. I also hadn't touched the game in over a year since getting stuck. I started a fresh save a few days ago and have been laser focused on parrying and it's going better. I'm having to get used to the movement with how the dodges work since it's different enough from Bloodborne for me to screw up the timing. I love Bloodborne and am up to just before the fight with Micolash, which I've been putting off intentionally because of knowing how annoying that fight is with all the running around and such.

This was super fun, and I agreed with all of Ellen's choices. The Dancer would probably be my #1, they're one of my favourite bosses, and so elegant and graceful... two swords again, but doesn't need to compensate for anything, they're more an artistic choice ;) How about the Abyss Watchers? You're only really dating one, but every other day one of his brothers turns up, and there's a 50% chance that brother tries to kill you. Crystal Sage - well read and a top tier magician, but a real softy. Champion Gundyr - an incredible athlete who just can't deal with the fact that he's past his heyday, and mopes around the same ol' cemetary. Moonlight Butterfly - Ethereal beauty but lacking stamina, needs a regular rest. Chaos Witch Quelaag - *She's got, lee-ee-gs... so many lee-eee-egs...* Ceaseless Discharge - He's, uhm, probably got a great personality.
