"How are you, Mr Smew ?" "And your kids, Huey, Dewey, and Louie Smew ?" "Fine," says Mr Smew. "How are you, Mrs Smew ?" "And your kids, Zoey, Joey, and Roly-poly Smew ?" "Fine," says Mrs Smew. Smews eat chewy and gooey smew food... when they are feeling blue. Do you ?
@ShadonicMotion RS, actually, ducks have flatter beaks, mergansers have a more thin and hooked beak, the smew is the smallest living merganser species and also the most primitive too, mergansers belong to the family Mergidae, which also contains the scoters, ducks are actually a paraphyletic group in respect to the mergids, these two families of anseroid waterfowl commonly called ducks being Dendrocygnidae and Anatidae, the latter being referred to as the true ducks, whilst the former being known as the pileated ducks, the Dendrocygnidae family is only more derived than the family Anseridae (Geese and Swans) but is basal to the Anatidae + Mergidae clade.
