Friendship ended with MP5, MP5K is my new best friend. It basically controls the same while being significantly cheaper, shorter, takes up less inventory space, better ergonomics, and much more likely to come back in insurance. It's also still compatible with the HK mount so you can put a cheap sight on it. Even an optic like a Specter still works. You can beam people from a pretty decent range with the new recoil.

I'm just glad SMGs that aren't just the vector / p90 are able to shine

The Mp5K with a drum is actually very good now. Also that rat was probably doing what I do, and camping a corner for twenty minutes or so to let everyone clear out of the raid before going after quest items/locations - you just happened to go where he was.

Now, it genuinely feels like most to all weapons in the game can hold their own in a fight now, other than shotguns lol

Mp5k strikes me as a convenient backup for a sniper rifle, it can fit into your rig and lets you loot a 2nd gun and a sidearm

MP5K doesn't just have "a" stock, it has multiple adapters that will either fit G36, ACR or Buffer Tube stocks. I mean there probably isn't a point with anything beyond the very basic stock due to the already very low recoil but it's not like it's the only option either; also fwiw the MP5 also has similar adapters. There's also handguards for it (M-LOK and M1913) so you could fit more ergonomic grips or tactical devices. Look all I'm saying is there is no reason we can't pimp out an MP5K just like any other weapon besides that BSG are cowards.

Didn't mention the .45 vector. 30 round mags off skier 2 for a pack of cigs and roughly 30-45k for the gun itself off the flea. Definitely my go to right now, feels much better after the recoil changes

the MP9 has been my favorite gun this wipe. Its always been good, but now its basically a laser beam that fires at 1100rpm. with the armor rework, im killing people so fast even with magdumping the chest/stomach.

SMG enjoyers, don’t sleep on 45 ACP, Match FMJ does 72 flesh and 25 pen, most soft spots on armors are only level 2.

Man this new recoil has me scared now, i found a surplus of 7.62 ps and a little bit if bp, these guys are very manageable full auto with minimal modding, the ak i built is 94 vertical recoil and i have no issues controlling it, for longer ranges i literally just crouch and spray

Man, as a man who has made it halfway through the assault tree in arena (My dedicated tree, I unlocked the G36, M3 super 90, Ak 101, and M4A1) AP 6.3 out of the MP9 is a menace at all tiers, and the only thing that can really stop it is CQB's face shields. The headshot game with 9mm is very strong, especially out of some of the bullet hoses for guns.

I've had so much fun this new wipe it's not even funny. I can't wait to start using the MP7 more honestly. Also the new music fits really well man, excellent choice!

Been running MPX since unlocked it at peacekeeper and oh Lord, it feels so good, no recoil, high ergo, high rate of fire, just perfect!

Another point: since good rounds are now locked behind top tier traders, ap6.3 has one of the best penetration values you can get on traders level 3, excluding .308 and exotic stuff. Combined with high rate of fire of smgs and the fact that a lot of vests have only soft armor at neck and shoulders - you don`t even need to hit those heads.

While you’re on the topic of an MP5K stock, BSG needs to add the option to putting an esmarch on certain AK stocks. Soviet troops wrapped them around their stocks during the Soviet-Afghan War

I repaired a scav saiga-9, took it to woods with low tier ammo, and literally HS every single scav and pmc I came across. The new throat hitbox is crazy, I've seen even the pm or TT do amazingly well with how easy it is to HS now...

I've been a SMG main forever. Especially plinking for headshots with stuff like the Kedr has some real zero to hero potential.

If I played Tarkov I’d be the guy to bring snacks and set up a tent in a dark corner.

Ive been asking for that MP5K folding stock for so long, itd make it less of a meme (even though its now extremely useable) and instead a quick high-ergo alternative to an MP5 that you dont have to mod much other than the stock to get that really good ergo

hommie, the 45 vector is so good, you can get the 30 rounders for it as a lvl 2 barter from skir for a pack of strikes. fmj is strong and lvl 2 pk and you only need a sight. and the magdump is something evil. Running it all day and people hate it

Title seems accurate. Every kill I've had so far has been with an SMG, although I suppose you could debate whether a few of them count, all depending on whether you consider Saiga 9 an SMG

mp5 kurz is now indeed god tier. super cheap day 1 weapon with 0 recoil. and u start with like 300 rounds so u have enough bullets to spray.

I know that 5.56 and 5.45x39 ammos are 'rifle' caliber but are there any short rifles in this game that come close to the performance of the SMGs shown in the video? Are the short rifles easier to get then the MP5s and P90s?

2019 mpx was my favorite gun.

I think some guns might need slight tweaking because some are definitely too good, but I hope bsg only makes minor changes to recoil in the future. While it seems like the recoil is unrealistic based on what we ised to have and what you would expect from other shooter games, this is actually the most realistic recoil ive ever seen in any game. Anyone whose ever shot a variety of guns would know that the recoil is now very realistic, like I said some are a little too good but for the most part it acts like it would in real life

Lmao I just last night got out of a Customs raid with 3 quest objectives from 3 different corners of the map, hit dorms marked, got the new Spear, and 3 PMC’s with a literal single 16 round mag +1 PS PPO of a PL-15, pistol calibers really are usable again.

i actually had a really good raid as a PMC with the mp5k, killed a good amount of scavs until I got wounded (did not bring any medical items)... but the game server decided to mess with me and go on a seizure and have server connection lost as I died!!! lost my kills and exp. got my gear back but next raid, thanks to the server issue, i lost those in an instant... got no kills... no exp and lost my gear.

Kiver Gang Rise up, Level 3 and even level 2 face shields this wipe have been INSANELY clutch + armor with neck armor.
