plus if they make them all BIG BIG that means there is more open range of ideas for skills, like Ymir shooting giant Ice Sickles at people or throwing a Giant Ball of snow that rolls

His passive is meant to be used as a baiting tool. During a teamfight, you'll soak up a bunch of damage and when you fall asleep, your team can capitalize on the blown enemy cooldowns while you recover. If they made his passive any stronger, then there would be no point trying to kill him while asleep and he'll just have a free 1-up.

The game is made so that with max cooldown reduction every god has atleast a 36 second cooldown on his/her ultimate (except Ra because fuck that guy I guess) But yeah Hirez will probably make his ultimate have the normal 90 second cooldown in the next patch :D Just imagine going a hybrid build with this guy and throwing out the ultimate multiple times per a teamfight :D The damage is real!

The Morris that's not, true, many people have their ult in less than 36

The Morris Arache's Ult has a 30 second cooldown, Hel's is 2 seconds, Agni's is 0.8 seconds (But takes 20 seconds to get a shot), Ullr's is 1 second. And Nu wa has a base of 60 which can easily be reduced a lot lower than 36.

Agni's meteors have each a 20s cooldown, a total of 60s to get every meteor ready. That with 40% CDR is also 36s to get every meteor ready. Didn't count in Hel's or Ullr's because not really an ultimate. Nu Wa's base ultimate cooldown is 60 seconds and with 40% CDR the lowest it can go is 36 seconds. (Also forgot Arachne :P)

my theory on why they don't touch Christianity at all is because its still a major religion. the gods of the game are all from pantheons whos religious people are small (hindu) or nonexistent (Egyptian, Mayan). Touching on major religions at this time could cause significant backlash to the point of putting hi-rez out of business. Even for very obscure Christian or even Muslim deities/demons there are certain religious fanatics that wont let anything slip by. that's just my theory & opinion though.

They already said the reason they don't put Jesus or other 'historical religious' figures is because they see them more as a human than an immortal being.

Yeah back in the day Na Zha had a passive where when he died he would heal allies around him up to (I think) 50% hp. but players deemed it "OP" & Hi-Rez said it encouraged feeding, so they decided to take it out the game permanently. im sure this passive we'll be taken away just like Na Zha's was.

they all carry the exact same weapon, or have too many tentacles. or their powers relate to puking up food for the japanese people. there just arent any japanese gods that would fit the game well besides maybe like one samurai. they dont really have many gods, just spirits and demons and the occasional borrowed religion

Wait what are u saying there are many good Japanese gods that can be used. Amaterasu goddess of the sun just give her a fire sword and have her ult be a slow moving big fire ball that explodes and causes aoe have her abilities cause aoe that way when she stands inside the fire it she heals a small bit allowing some risk with some reward. tsukuyomi god of the moon make him a busier or assassin give his ult charges like Agni and let him place small spots "no bigger then chrono #1 ability" on the ground where he can be invisible and unseen from the enemy team. Unless they step in. It can also give him an buff for fighting inside. See the Japanese gods are pretty interesting.

Nemenian Bakasura is not a god - he is the demon - neither is this kumbakharna - he is not a god - he is the giant or whatever...
