Season 5 featured so many ups and downs of teams with Splyce coming out of no where at the end of the year. Season 6 had a team NO ONE expected to show up win the title after barreling through all of the best teams in the world followed by them doing it AGAIN in season 7.

@@ephraim363 I think a few months ago now? Idk he was exposed for being a sexual predator has completely stopped uploading on all platforms and hirez even removed his announcer pack and ward skin in game and told him publicly to get the fuck out of the community

@@nickmorris2930 It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it. DM fucked up I think two years ago and went on a MASSIVE rant against some kid and essentially told him to go kill himself, that's when Hirez disassociated themselvs from him and removed him as a caster and removed him all official links to his channels. Then things were quiet and he was a douchebag in just his own channel, then last year I believe, following some let's just say innapropriate behavior towards members of his organisation, he was outed as a sexual predator and Hirez permanently banned him. A more extensive ban than normal people get, as they didn't just ban his account (and known smurfs), they put a "personality ban" or whatever you wanna call it on him. Any account he ever makes will instantly be banned as soon as he is found to be associated with it. That's about as short as it can be put tbh.

Putting aside the claims against DM, and also putting aside the fact that most of us thought he was an asshole even before those claims came to light, you all can't deny that he was the best commentator Hirez ever hired. Most people might not like that but credit where credit is due. Bart was a very close second imo.

There are so many great players that aren't around anymore, thinking of a lot of EU players that couldn't or wouldn't make the move to Atlanta area. Yammyn took MVP of the tourney if I remember right.

the bellona was lvl 3 and the whole envy squad was lvl 1

It was a troll game because both teams were already guaranteed to go to Worlds for that season. It's just the seed difference that was made between winning and losing. But yeah it was quite the moment.

They haven't when they're at lan! They've usually got a desk, just not during regular season. Unfortunately probably won't have it this year as they can't have the tournament in a big stadium thanks to good old covid
