hi guys i am from south africa.since i subscribed and watched the videos.out of all the videos these one rilly inspired simply because it gives a clear direction of where the family originate from.i started my own family of roller pegeon with only two pair from a well know respected guy and am planning to do exactly what you did guys.i love your videos keep up the good work.
That is the most beautiful line of rollers I have seen. The first bird, Piano Tail, is the most beautiful. I like the white on the shoulder. I am an old man. When I was a boy I raised pure Pensom Rollers. They were pure back then. That is all that I can compare to. In comparison yours look like they have a little round headed tumbler in them. Not to much. Very attractive. Several of them stand with their wings dropped lower and their tails more "up". Reminds me of influence of a Fantail's stance. There is some other breed of flying pigeons that have more tail feathers and have that stance. Looks very good. Do fantails walk on their toes? I do not like muffs. But I think grouse legs or boots look great. If the birds have any muffs in their ancestry it can sneak back. However I had full blood Pensom Rollers and there were some genes for grouse legs in them. It could have been developed more. Mine came in many colors with a range of color modifier genes. Not all of the new colors come from crossing to other breeds. You showed a blue check with bronze in the checks. That trait existed in the original Pensom rollers. I am concerned about how inbred this line might be, although they look very healthy! How many ancestors do they have? How much of their genetics is the original Blue Star hen? 25%? Do any of the children ever show inbreeding depression? I enjoy your presentations. Thanks!
You made mention of the first hen that was part of your blue star family and the person that it came from. Do you know exactly what family that was from? Anything or any family name or linage that the roller community in general might be familiar with? Much appreciated.
hello Mr Sam I was wondering if you had any of the blue star family pigeons for sale? I'm just trying into the hobby.. alitle late.. I'm 24 but better late than never.. I would love to start of with good birds .and in all your videos you mention how you Ben having those families for years..
