The rifles in this video are sub-12 FPE UK spec.
Video Review of the UK-spec SMK VICTORY PR900W Gen 2 Reg. aka DIANA STORMRIDER.
Personally I can hit everything I need to hit with my springer, but for rat control I like to have fast follow up shots when necessary.
I have this purely as a cheap pest control rifle, not as a recreational rifle due to its low shot count per fill.
Shot count is 35-40 which is 30 more than I ever need in one rat session at Sundown Cabin here. It's always charged and ready to grab at a moments notice - unlike my springers.
SMK PR900/Diana Stormrider is a basic functional PCP air rifle.

Buckrail barrel band or the one in the Chaser or Bandit kit will stabilize that barrel. Some are designed that way for barrel rise after shot.

Yeah that's right. My main concern is that I'm too damn clumsy - every time I walk through a doorway I smack the gun on the door frame or whatever 😁 I actually put a piece of foam pipe insulation around the modified gun...

Thanks for the review. Growing up on a grain farm in the midwestern USA there was plenty opportunity for the killing of ratz. We would even have rat killing parties. The dogs and cats always got more than we did, although us brothers took our share too.

I really like the amount of editing you put into your videos! I can't imagine how long that took! Maybe you're really fast, but it would've taken me weeks to film & edit a video that perfectly! I loved the smoke effect in the one clip showing the rifle up close! Keep up the great work! Peace! ✌️

Nifty setup there, light and effective...have fun keeping them vermin under control. Last night, taking my dog out, I shone my headlamp and saw no less than 4 sets of eyes staring back at me. The Rabbits are getting after it and I'm looking forward to introducing them to my Spanish Beauty (the Cometa is primed and ready to pop some cotton).

nice vid again ,…. i have a pimped out smk p10 shorty which i compete in hft against the big boys toys and they hate it 😂 i did a hampster and spray job like a black grey reptile all over,… stripped and tuned ,…made my own glided lightened hammer,…fitted a huma reg and lathed a old 1990s daystate barrel to fit along with baffles in a ull barrel shroud , trigger tube ect ect ,….shoukd send you a photo or 2 really. i have top end guns but i like to prove a point and do things like this to show the snobs love the vids Daniel

Yeah it's nice and subtle in built up areas for sure. And yeah, what is it with people keeping chickens in totally unsuitable places now? My brother in law's neighbour had a bunch of 'em in a garden no bigger than 10yrds square - rats were sitting in all the gardens in broad daylight by the houses, smell was off the scale, kids couldn't use the gardens. Local authority didn't give a damn. Drew

The second mlok extension is also from buck rail or it is an adaptation?? I'm thinking about putting in the kit but I don't see any extension and only the first rail seems short to me

Nice custom job. Did you ever do footage on an accuracy test? Wondering if the extra bracing making the barrel more rigged and secure improved the accuracy?

I'm about to do just that - accuracy demo. Spoiler alert: It's damn accurate. Yeah the full length barrel bracing really did improve consistency, more so than I expected.

friend of mine over a period tried/owned two , one in 4.5 and other in 5.5. He was actually very disappointed . constant leaking,bad trigger , never ending accuracy problems etc . Perhaps just bad luck. Personally done with pcp despite that they are much easier to shoot accurately.

Yeah I think sometimes there's a bad batch - often happens with budget end guns it seems. Certainly pleasantly surprised with my one, and it's useful for rats - but my pro sport is what I reach for 9 times out of 10. Drew

my pr900 is accurate up to 50 meters on a 1 euro coin (I'm from Spain) with the 18 grain jsb at 25 hits almost the same hole, the only problem it´s the low capacity of the tank

I have the smk pr900w great gun but loud I’ve noticed it loses power with a silencer fitted can’t complain for the money tho.

Yeah I like it, accurate little beast but as you say - loud. Interesting what you say about power loss with the silencer - I haven't chrono'd it without it yet. Weirdly, it worked the other way around with the CP-2 (Chaser) funnily enough - made a tad more power through the silencer.

I’m using a big silencer would like a smaller at somepoint I took a pigeon at 27 meters with the silencer off no probs clean shot.Then did the same shot with it on hit the bird at just flew off.Also I have small steel targets without the silencer it smacks them far back with the silencer they don’t get smacked so far.

I also noticed they say 25 shots I probably keep to 20 this loses power quite quick I got the 3d printed mag to very nice.
