Yeah, I've been adding them into RU-vid for a little while and it's just a few extra clicks to do this. It might not go well on all videos, but on tip videos like this, it's an easy thing to do that might make things easier for my community.
I'll never be a high level player, and that's okay. I have way more fun throwing out oddball builds to the point I have my friends going "Oh god, what's this gonna start doing?" If I don't know what I'm doing, how can my opponent? Great video and I agree, the captions are a nice touch and I'd like to see them in more of your content!
Thinking of it like how I do in FM, I like trying my own ideas instead of going for the "meta". It's a lot more fun when I succeed. Can experiment the heck out of things and have fun that way, obviously isn't the approach for everyone though.
8 year old me: the move does damage, use that instead of a buff 28 year old me: the move does damage, use that instead of a buff Jokes aside, great video! Informative and I'll use the advice when building my comp team
You I actually understand what u mean . Making your own movesets help to not be as predictable than just the typical standard sets . I normally used Smogon sets for a starting point then I add moves that are not the norm for the set , like putting thunder wave on my ttar or something people would expect
I copy cool Japanese pokemon sets i see ingame while guessing what 2 stats to put in evs that would work for said pokemon. I only battle on 3v3 casual and the official competitive 3v3 singles ladder.
