Tip: if your going from cutting room four to smoke slide, you can input smoke slide right after the second hit of the grab and it will auto do the slide right when your finished Edit: So, if you have any questions on how to play smoke, please ask me, I will do my best to respond.

@@lowkeylouie1115 You want to practice the kutting room four combo until you can press the entire combo before the grab happens. Once the grab happens, wait until he hits the opponent the second time before quickly inputting the special move.

Is that the move that ends in the grab? I don’t remember the name of it but I use it a lot and I’ve timed it just start inputs for my slide or anti air move on the second to last hit and it’s never failed me yet. Smoke is prolly a mid tier character but I’m having a lot of fun pulling combos with him and Sareena as my Kameo.

@@Forever.Remain.Namelesssub zero had a 53% combo (3 bars + both bars of sonya kameo, in the corner) and now after the first patch the same combo does like 34%. If they were brave enough to nerf sub (a balanced character in this game) they definetly should nerf cunts such as smoke, jhonny cage an so on

These videos help so much for beginners, I wouldnt ever find these for the life of me. 516 is wild. I did notice that most of the combos ending with DB1 can be done with DB 2 for more dmg except if you want to use a special meter to power up DB1

@@TokyoSagaThe timing on it isn’t what you’d expect. You likely have to press Back+Block later than you think you do, after he emits the smoke and before the attack starts, when he’s right in front of your opponent. There’s no universal solution unfortunately, since everyone has different reaction speeds so you’ll just have to practice deliberately delaying and deliberately pressing it earlier until you find what works for you.

how do u get the cancel after the low; overhead? i never get that to combo out of the dash cancel? like u did here at 9:12 ? the window for the cancel never works for me ohter strings work just fine but this one i never can get a combo after the dash cancel no matter how fast i do it? A tip: I think you can buff the forward dash after you do the 3,2 combo. It really helps surprisingly.

3:26 dude I can hit this combo without the dash variation. But with it it ALWAYS drops the grab part. Any advice?

Don't dash. Just do 32, 32, whatever the rest you want. One of the two kicks will miss, but then you can go into F12Grab and you pretty much don't need to time anything. That kick does about 2%, and if the difference is making the combo or not, 2% is a small price to pay to get it almost every time.

Just learn how to cancel cutting floor with smoke port ex and you’ll land 30 percents all day in a match and it could honestly change the fight. Personally I have issues with people defaulting to down block when I’m playing smoke. I need to work on a string with f,3,2

Maybe I'm just screwing it up but his f+3,2 Teleport cancel into 3,2. Did it all day yesterday. Today it doesn't hit. So odd. Does it still work? I don't think anything changed. I hit everything else off the cancel just fine too just not 3,2 all of a sudden.

@@killshotmc hop onto practice and just practice a combo over and over again until you can do it repeatedly. I practiced combos in Training and after a while just fought the CPU to see when the best time to combo is.

Try delaying for a beat after the 32, maybe walking forward during that time will help, and for the 1+3, press the throw button instead (so forward 1, 2, then throw). They work the same because the 1+3 is technically a throw and this applies to all characters who have a 1+3 in their strings.
