Some negative comments but to be expected I suppose. To me the more ingredients the more exciting. However I thought them just right with the exception of the carrots, but then again I've never tasted this dish. I love cooking more and more over the last five years and have learnt so much. so thank you for adding to my knowledge. No idea where haha is but I'm sure the food is lovely. I worked for this chain in Kingston: The idea was great but the execution was poor. The pay was disgusting and there was so much penny pinching (chefs would come for a few weeks and leave for this reason). We’d have customers waiting over an hour for their food. We were a cocktail bar too yet the martini glasses were so easily chipped. I was thrown behind the bar on my first shift without training and all these customers were ordering cocktails I had no idea how to make! 😂
Yes, skip the potatoes add another slice of fish, use the poaching milk to make a bechamel sauce, Add grated parmesan and perhaps a poached egg as well. Season and dig in!
