Thank you so much for watching my friend Back in the day are used to see smoked opals definitely being marketed as a way to make the Ethiopian opal’s look less Ethiopian however nowadays since a lot of the gem world is a lot more transparent And the quality has gotten better smoked opals have kind of taken over a life of their own and now have their own identity without the trickery they were once know for
Thanks so much for watching my friend I really wish I could go case by case more often but when I show up too much from windows I think it makes the vendors uncomfortable and I’m usually asked to leave and if they asked me to delete the footage I always do so as well so it’s better for me to get out before they notice this January and February the gym show is going to be back to normal and I will definitely be filming some super high in specimens in cases I’m going to be using a very small camera so that people aren’t annoyed

Dave, so sorry that we couldn’t connect in Taos today. I will have to get with you in Tucson later in the year if they have a fall show. My wife and I are off to Durango and then Cortez before heading back to southeastern Arizona. Keep making those videos my friend.
