In today’s video we are putting a twist on a recipe for Oyster Snack Crackers that my wife have been making for years. This is a quick and easy snack to share with family, friends and co workers. Happy Holidays All !
Hey Kevin , Thank you. Also thanks for the bbq journals! I know Alton wants one so I’m going to send him one. Hopefully he will use it on screen! He is closing in on 100K !
@@daddydutchbbq thank you Kent, I saw that in the video and reached out to him. I’m sending him a few👍. Had no idea they had arrived, thanks for the shout out during the show!
#IowaArms and Mrs Iowa Arms.. that's a beaut recipe MrsKent!! 💜💙💚💛🧡 Please put MrsKents awesomeness on screen more. Thank you both for this delightful gift!🥰🥰🥰🖐
Oh boy Kent I want to hear Cathy say yours are better!! Hahahaha those are addicting and they always disappear quick around here too!! Have a great weekend brother!!
Oh yeah… quick, easy & simple… right up my alley! I’ll have to make a few batches and take in to my shop folks at work. This will be a nice change from the holiday popcorn. Thanks for sharing Kent.
Hey Kent :-) I hate when I can't find the lid :-) Great way to tweak the wife's recipe :-) Dude I'm going to try this but I will have to do it in the oven. A "BIG" thumbs up :-) Stay SAFE!!!!!!! Merry Christmas :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!!
Very interesting. Sounds like something that would still be good to put on a chilli. Typical not being able to find the lid. It’s either the lid or the container that’s missing around here. Definitely sounds like a good snack. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! My wife sound the lid in 3 seconds! I think she did it on purpose...lol ! It’s a great snack and would be good in chili too ! Hoping you have a Merry Christmas!
I've not tasted any of Steve's spice blends, but I have no doubt that they are delish :) Love the marinated oyster crackers, Kent. I make a version of these too with Italian dressing mix and other spices and they are so good. Delicious twist to put them on the smoker and good idea to stash the spices in your hoodie pockets! 😂 I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!! 🎅🏻🎄
I started watching this expecting actual oysters or something...I've never heard of Oyster Crackers...Dumb Aussie here haha!!! That looks like an awesome snack Kent. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
Heyo Kent this is first for me but I'm sure it very tasty thank for sharing my brother. You and the family have a wonderful Sunday and upcoming week. Early Merry Christmas 🎅. Lol 🤣Cheers!
Nice snack idea Kent. I love Chex mix but never thought of doing oyster crackers. Great idea! I’ll be doing this for sure. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas brother.
Looks so yummy how i wish i can make something like this too. Great work! Watching from Phil! Here to show some support. When you get a chance my friend you are more than welcome to join the journey of our lil fam. ❤️
Dammit Dan! No I gotta make some more elk chili ! I gotta get my hands on some bison ! Never tried it ! I hear moose meat is excellent too ! Merry Christmas Dan and family!
It seems to Tuna that the intro was in a "Boogey's Eye View," looking up at Kent. "and a tablespoon of this spice here..." **Pours in a cup full** Why don't you use butter instead of the popcorn oil (which from what Tuna knows is meant to be butter flavored)? Is it because of the higher cooking temp of the "popcorn oil?" 250F should be low enough for butter to work. Awesome recipe, these look great! All the best!
Most recipies call for regular oil. But a lot of times the seasoning doesn't stick well. If you can find popcorn oil with some solids in it that's the best. Anymore I can only find the Orville Redenbacher brand its better than regular oil. I decided to try adding a little butter thats the trick. 🙂
@@cathyvandeweerd9563 Thank you for the information. It would be interesting to see how it turns out with 100% butter especially if the butter is helpful in having the ingredients stick. All the best.
Professor.....what she said....lol ! It’s her recipe ! I just do what the Boss lady says, most of the time ! Maybe a 1/4 cup of seasoning but not a cup ! Thanks for stopping by Professor ! Merry Christmas!
