It was such a breath of fresh air too see someone treat the topic of drugs as a serious topic in a fan made Thomas production. Rather than treating it as a joke

This is something, a message about drugs and how it's bad, especially what happens to victims of substance abuse to humans and/or, in this case, engines.

I thought it was gonna be like a parody sort of video like what comedy shows used to do back in the day, but nope, it's an episode about a serious topic! Very nicely done. Thomas clearly didn't enjoy tripping out... I never do drugs, but I'd imagine it's a horrific experience.

Thomas be as high as Harold and taking a journey beyond Sodor.... and here i thought the only thing engines would ever get high off was the gold dust. 🌟 Jokes aside an important message to tackle for an episode, the awareness of drugs and the harm they can cause; not just for people, but the environment and other living things as well. Remember kids.... share hugs, not drugs.

That was an interesting tale! 🤣 To be fair, you handled the topic very well! There wasn't anything inappropriate, and Thomas' trip was depicted very sensibly. The only things I'd change are having some sombre music playing during the trip, more shots from Thomas' warped POV, and - as idyllic as this would be - a scene of the lads getting arrested. Otherwise, a very good take on a common problem! Excellent work ^_^

Wow… This was handled really well, as someone who was unintentionally poisoned by marijuana via a bag of peanuts thanks to my (now at the time) friend when I was 13. I honestly felt the same as Thomas. I felt I had let everyone around me down, I bawled my eyes out, and thought I was going to jail myself. I didn’t even know what pot smelled like before that incident. I honestly felt so stupid for not noticing. This was honestly a great, mature, story that has a great moral and makes me remember to not affiliate with the person that spliced the snack. Edit: sorry about that story, it just made me remember a scary memory I had dug deep into the back of my head. I know that was kinda cringy though, and I do apologize if anyone cringed while reading that.

this made me think of that Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue special where characters like Bugs Bunny and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tried to save a teenager from drugs

I would never thought about making a story about Thomas and drugs

Please reconsider every life choice that was made to lead to a Thomas the god damn tank engine story unironically, with zero self-awareness, being written about Marijuana. I sunk into my chair out of secondhand embarrassment. My lungs failed and my eyes vacated my skull. Call an ambulance. EDIT: I watched it again and it's even worse somehow. My liver has failed.

This is one of best fan-made Thomas episodes I have ever seen. The mature subject matter ranks up there with actual stories from the books and episodes from the TV show. Very well done.

A very good story over illegal substances. The actual show would never consider to imitate and portray a mature subject in a kids show, however I applaud you for covering this in a creative way with the steam locomotives.

This really is a very subtley scary episode in the fact that Thomas-who is a very pure engine-has some form of elicit drug in his system and ends up feeling the effects. Often this idea is something often joked about, but you actually took it very seriously. I couldn’t help but feel scared for him!

This is what caused the Chase MD train collision, the crew of some light Conrail engines weren't in the right state of mind, and missed several red signals, stopped right on the main line, and got hit by an Amtrak train.

I love this! Really feels like an anti-drug PSA that would have aired on British TV back then. Thomas is literally the perfect medium for such a thing, and this video really reflects that. Well done!

I'd love to comment something nice under this but overall this is a very harmful message. Cannabis is not something that will make you "shake uncontrollably, See bright colors everywhere or be paranoid." Cannabis is used for medical aid and has been proven to help with: Cancer, Epilepsy, depression and much more. At no point in my life have I heard of a backed study (that wasn't later confirmed false) that Cannabis has any of the effects listed in this video. The actual effects of Cannabis are much more minor. such as muscle relaxation, a sensation of cold or hot hands and feet, and in general the person consuming the Cannabis is much more slow and thought out. This video very clearly had very little if any research put into it. Please do better research in future for topics like this. :/

I felt terrible for Thomas when he started to cry in great stress from experiencing the effects of the marijuana thrown into his firebox. 😢 I certainly believe in how scary drugs can be by not just your vision changing your world view but the other nasty effects from it including being addictive and able to cause cancer. I won’t breathe that shit, never.
