Smoking the Padrón 1926 No. 90 | Cigar Review and Single Malt Scotch Pairing 

Guys, I can't seriously thank y'all enough for educating and enlightening me along my second go at premium cigars. Until I found this channel, I had given up on the cigar world because the one "shop" I had went to wasn't at all helpful and I didn't know how to cut or even properly light the couple of cigars I bought from them. But about a year ago, I found this super amazing channel through the RU-vid recommendations feed, and now I'm almost a full year into my journey of the leaf. I can't wait to finally make the pilgrimage, one state south, and meet the both of you and maybe even have a stick together. Y'all please don't stop this channel. Keep educating the newbies, like myself, and all while throwing in some great puns and light humor. Blessings y'all.

Greetings from Finland! Never smoked in my life, watching your vids few weeks now, smoked my first cigar yesterday, im hooked.

"that funk" and process for how that is achieved is what differentiates that stick from the 3000. It's like a dry aged steak at the Captial Grille vs a sirloin you'd order at Applebees. The Family Reserve has even more funk and that's what you're paying for.

It's my go-to cigar. The standard by which I judge all others.

The day was pretty average, then i tuned in. Both you guys looking sharper than a circa 1500's Japanese Katana. Damn Faccia, that Jacket gave the day an instant shot of Adrenaline and kick up the arse. Great one fellas.

I didn’t realize the 90 was NOT a box pressed. I love Padron, especially the 80 but not a fan of box pressed. Definitely looking for a box of 90’s now. Thank you for dropping the cigar knowledge!

Just got a box of the Maduro 90. Only smoked one so far, but I have to say it's one of the richest, most delicious smokes I've had! Definitely in my top 5 list!

I’m a big box pressed fan. I can do either but box pressed is my favorite. It’s hard to beat a good Padron. I don’t ever recall having a bad one ever.

Y’all are killer suited. Excellent video content on the cigar. I’d pair the Natural with the Compass Box Spaniard on the mantle and the Blanton’s with the Maduro. Great price on these, too.

Awesome Gents! I’ve had both of these twice. As a big fan of Padron I think these actually came up a bit short. No disrespect, my fav are the 26 series. The one thing I came away with is definitely power but lack of flavor all the way through. Anyway, I’m going to try again with the Glen 15 pairing in your honor. Love these vids!!!!

Padron and Arturo Fuente are the best cigars Hands down. I prefer padron because I like a little pepper but I love a don Carlos ,858 opus x lost city

As always love the videos guys...hey a suggestion for a scotch to pair with cigars in Pardons league is any of the Glengoyne line. They are less talked about in the scotch world but are a really small and fantastic old distillery.

Padron is my favorite . No matter the shape, size or version . You can depend on Padron for consistent tobacco and construction.

I'd love it if you guys could pair a cigar to a Caol ila 12 year old single malt. It's my go to and an amazing malt not too peaty for an Islay but sweet and tastes of treacle and mild smoke. I can see the island from my house. I'd trust your judgement but in the meantime I'll experiment until I get it 👌👍

I'm curious of your opinions on pairing nice gourmet coffees with your cigar? I do love a nice scotch, dark rum, or even a resposado or anejo tequila with my cigar. Lately, I've been grinding my coffee beans and using my breville barista touch to make nice smooth gourmet coffees. I really like the pairing. Love your videos and thanks guys.

I tried the higher end padrons . I just can’t handle them. To get used to stronger cigars, should you do it gradually or go strong and stick with it?

Bottom line which one is better Natural or Maduro?

I have not had many box pressed but the ones I have had I have not enjoyed as much as a round. Any recommendations?

I saw on one video, guy said "all Padrones are the same, just more age", he said if you age Padrone tousand series it will be the same as 1926, 1964 etc....could that be true?
