Staying in Gatlinburg has become almost too much for us. We love being able to walk around down there right from our room, but you have to weigh what's most important. Great review of this lovely campground.
All About The Smokies Thank you. We agree Downtown is nice when it Is not crowded, but when it is, we prefer the semi-solitude and friendliness found at a campground.
It is a great little campground. I would guess roughly a 1/4 - 1/2 mile or so total walk around the entire campground loop. We saw people walking their dogs around the loop.
