I found Laura Geller through QVC many, many years ago. She seems like such a sweet lady, I just love supporting the brand. Also, my grandmother is 90 & only wears Laura Geller. That says something! 💜
I feel like I need to check out QVC. I think many years ago I bought some shampoo set there but I never think about it. I want to try this primer and foundation!!!
Emily, I don't think you saw this the last time, so I'm trying again: I have an idea: full face of products you loved in your teens, 20s and 30s. Maybe like 5 products for each decade for a full look. I had some supporters on this, hope you'll consider it - I know you have such a nostalgic heart! ;)
She's done something similar before but still a good idea, also I dunno how old you think she is but shes in her 30s. May be fun to have mom chime in (esp for older viewers or those of us who are always helping our mine with makeup)
My mom got me into Laura Geller YEARS ago when I was still in high school! We both have used her products since, I’m glad the brand is getting more attention. I swear I’ve hit more pan on LG products than any other brand. Talk about staples!
I’m so happy to see Laura Geller getting some love from the RU-vid beauty community!!! Her Kajal eyeliners are the longest lasting I’ve ever used, and I love her baked blushes and Bronze & Brighten. I have been using her products for years and think her line up is so underrated.
I got the grapefruit blush. and balance and Brighton regular (it might be old)/ and I do have the double take versatile powder foundation and also the baked hilighther dou in French vanilla and golden rose. Also, I got the baked balance and glow illuminating foundation in FAIR!, ...Can u tell that I’m a Laura Gellar fan? Lol Her products work very well on my 55 year old skin. Love ❤️ it!!!
I love makeup but dont really wear it much, but I never miss one of your videos and I'll go back and watch old videos at night. I just love you and your attitude and personality and your genuine love for makeup. I'm a mom of 6 kids so when I get the free time i spend it watching your videos. Love you and your content!
The double take, I love to get my brush or sponge wet and pick up product then apply. It’s a game changer. I never thought to apply it wet until I saw Shawn From QVC do it.

Omg me too I found a whole kit on Zulily with an eyeshadow palette, lip gloss, baked and balance foundation and brush for $30 I LOVE it I had the foundation years ago and forgot about it and just repurchased, I really want the blushes there Sooo good. I'm glad people are talking about how good this brand is again
Thank you Emily. I watch you and Allie Gaines mostly for your goodness and personality. I credit you both with keeping me happy, inspired and loving during this pandemic. You both really focus on the important things in life and are wonderful role models. Yes, I love seeing beautiful makeup, but bless you for spreading kindness and happiness. It is true beauty, that never fades.
Double Take Baked is also beautiful when applied wet with a sponge (like a Beauty Blender or Real Techniques sponge) and it is designed to be applied either wet or dry. I like to use the sponge it comes with (the white side), wrapped around my finger to apply more as a concealer to places where I need it.
I wish it would control my oily skin but nothing has ever worked. BUT! I will say this is the first and only foundation that does not break down or slide off my face! After a 14 hour day in a hot, humid warehouse, it’s still there, even after blotting! I’ll never use anything else!!
Beautiful! I use only LG B&B. I am older and for me this is the best . Never cakes. Ever. I use Purito BB cream , Dr. Jart Beauty Balm, or Missha BB. The Purito gives this old skin a great glowing complexion. I dab it like you and then buff lightly. I have all of her blushes. Her shadows are great , too. I do use a primer because ... you know. Great video as always. Cheryl Oh yes, wet that brush a bit for the sheen shadows. They are there to stay.
I remember seeing Laura Geller on QVC over 10 years ago and have always been so intrigued by her products. I've never actually tried anything from the brand, and I'm not sure why though. I think it's because I rarely ever hear anything about her products. It's like I keep forgetting about the brand. Ill See or hear it mentioned somewhere and be like "oh yeah," but then it's like I totally forget about it again! I've been on the hunt for a new powder foundation lately, so I'm DEFINITELY going to buy the Balance and Brighten the next time I have a little extra money
I’m so glad you did this! As a 40-something I feel like the “big” influencers-even those who are mature-never stray much from the same old brands who market toward 20-somethings. I also have gigantic craters for pores and I’ve found nothing that blurs them. I’ve just embraced them lol. I try to keep anything glowey back away from the apples of my cheeks and use more matte blushes so that they don’t draw attention to my pores. :)

I remember using the original Spackle primer many yrs back & I wasn’t really impressed, so I never bothered with it again. But it was Emily’s review & mention of the mattifying one being special that changed my mind about trying this one.
@@BellyJae - that’s EXACTLY what I do too. Although I cannot say that I’ve embraced them lol! They’ve really remained more of a “bone of contention” with me - I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for something that helps to blur them. I’ve yet to find anything that helps more than Tarte smoothing primer & a mattifying powder, & even that is very temporary. So after this review, I went to the LG website to purchase the Spackle mattifying primer. I have high expectations & high hopes for it. At $32, I pray I’m not disappointed.
I love the ELF Hydrating primer under this LG foundation. It just glides over the skin so easily! I, too, also love the bronze and brighten and her blushes. This makeup lasts very well and doesn't cake up or accentuate pores. I would love to help Laura get back on the radar of others. I don't think you would be disappointed in her baked complexion products
I just got the brightness foundation .. omg I hate it worst thing Iv ever tried made my fave look old , creator pores and left it looking old and textured .. awful
You're right about those mini balance n brighten compacts lasting a long time. I dropped mine and ended up putting the pieces of powder foundation back together using rubbing alcohol and I have plenty of product still, after a couple of months' use. I actually have a full size stashed away but it's going to sit and wait for a while! I LOVE Laura Geller products!

That's a stunning Palette Emily. I had a baked palette by Laura Mercier years ago. I wasn't a fan it was really flaky and not pigmented. I felt like you. Maybe I need to try this!
I remember seeing the LG products when I was younger and I wasn’t interested. Not that my skin is more mature the BB&B is MAGIC. So much better than Bare Minerals (which I have used forever). Super excited to try more of her products.

I love Laura Gellar Swirled Gelato Highlighter in Gilded Honey. It’s my go to! I’m very tanned, olive skin with yellow undertones and It’s stunning! Love the full Laura Gellar Look.
I love how you and Allie are talking about Laura Geller products! LG was the first high end makeup I ever bought and while I have so many other brands in my makeup collection now, the B&B foundation is still my default powder foundation! I had fallen out of using the eyeshadows, blush and bronzer, as well as Spackle, but I’m gonna dig them out! Hope the Spackle is still good! ~Regina~
My favorite product is her Undereye Brightener but would love your opinion of the Soft Focus Foundation, H3 Concealer, and Perfect Precision Brow Pencil.

I have the Double Take foundation. I found it at TJ Maxx a while back and have only really used it as a setting powder over tinted moisturizer. I may have to pick up that primer and try it out again 🤩
Makeup Revolution launched 3 or 4 baked eyeshadow palettes a few years ago & I don’t understand why they’re never talked about - they’re so beautiful! Baked are different from traditional pressed powder eyeshadows, but once you realize what they’re capable of, the pigmentation, vibrancy & staying power is just as good & can even exceed a regular pressed shadow. No doubt a primer is usually necessary especially when used dry, but omg the colors are just STUNNING when used wet - & that’s where you see the real staying power & color payoff of a baked eyeshadow 💜
YAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! I’m new to the brand myself!! About a month in and I’m super obsessed! I’ve NEVER ever had a foundation last on me all day like this foundation does! I have very greasy Apache skin! Now nothing has ever kept my oils at bay but this is the first foundation that does not break down or slide off on me! It stays put tall day! I wear this about 14 hours each day! I work in a hot and humid warehouse and it doesn’t budge, even after blotting! Just wanted to share my experience! I now have a few of her blushes, another baked foundation of hers in Deep I use as my bronzer and two different highlighters! I just bought a face kit for my mom from the LG website since they had a 44% off flash sale! Happy clam!!

I wear Laura Geller every day! She rocks! I'm in my 60's, fortunate to have good skin w/ few wrinkles & her products just make me look my best whether gardening or running around! She has a heart of gold, too! Pure class!
Although I only have a handful, I love the Laura Gellar products I own. I really enjoy these brand focused tutorials. Would you consider doing a video focused on Fiona Stiles products? I first tried her luminous foundation a few years ago and it's still to this day my favorite luminous foundation to wear. Ulta stopped selling her products awhile back but I've noticed that her products are now available for purchase on Walmart's website and I'm so excited! Thanks Em! ❤

I love Laura Gellar products…… I’ve just purchased some of the space primers as well as her balance and brighten foundation and I’ve bought several shades of the blush in the balance and brighten(favorite is the pink buttercream) and I have two shades of the bronzers in the same line. I enjoy her products so much!😊

I had never heard of Laura Gellar until I found your channel 7 years ago. I still remember you using her French vanilla highlighter. I bought several of her products on your recommendation and they were all fantastic. This video makes me want to hop on over to QVC and pick something up 💜💕
I have been a Laura Geller fan for years, since she first started with QVC. The hydrating version of the primer you used is also great - and I was a little concerned because I can get too oily sometimes. I use it even when I am not wearing foundation, keeps my complexion fresh feeling.
I bought the LG swirled foundation the day Allie put up her video!! I have not used another foundation since and I have a LOT to choose from. I swirl it on with a brush and I swear I get better than light to med coverage and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! Thanks for doing a full face of LG Emily......Now I want more!

I found the Laura Geller highlighter last year, and it was amazing. Her products kept popping up around me, and I watched Allie Glines video, so I ordered the baked, balance and brighten, the bronze & brighten, and a blush. I was floored! I got more compliments, not on makeup, but just the you look great, what are you doing... trying more now!
You turned me on to Laura Geller years ago and the bronze and brighten in fair is my go to bronzer and tropic hues is my go to blush! Loved this review! The shades of the eyeshadow palette are right up your alley!

I feel like the quality is *there*...especially for the price! I seem to find her products at Marshall's/tj maxx quite often, so i get to try out a lot of different things from her line without breaking the bank! I haven't got to try the mattifying primer yet. I wonder if it would work for someone with oily skin like myself. I'd love to see more videos with her products.
Gorgeous look! I found Laura Gellar through your videos way back in the day & bought a few sets on QVC. My favorites are the Balance & Brighten & the Bronze & Brighten. Do you remember how Spackle was packaged back in the day?! It was this huge bottle with a pump and it looked like petroleum jelly in the component. The packaging has certainly improved. I’m excited to try the fuller coverage foundation & one of the newer blushes!! 💜
Soooo happy you did Laura's Geller. I love Laura's products and have all to do a whole face. She does have an under eye/ pressed face translucent powder called "Oil Blotting Face Powder" Matte Maker Advanced. Loved your look, beautiful!
Laura Geller makeup is the makeup that started me off down this road I'm now on. lol. I bought a minis kit from QVC that had the baked foundation, bronzer, blusher, highlighter, a primer and lip gloss. I don't religiously use LG makeup these days but I do have some produ to in my collection that I like.
