I'm waiting on my third replacement now One stopped working after a couple weeks and the other one would just Skip like four foot areas it would only climb the wall for maybe one minute and have tried this one and the newer robot
I had mine skip around too on my first couple uses. I realized it's pretty sensitive to being on level ground when turning on and as well it needs to be level when placing in the water at first. It seems to do a lot better now though.
@@JackofAllTrades1 I've tried everything at first I had tank x11 and it did great but it just stopped even charging anymore in the lights will just go crazy and they replaced it with the tank X1C and that was just terrible So now I'm waiting on another tank x11 there's tons of people complaining on Amazon about the same problems for that much money that should be no problems at all
@@JackofAllTrades1 I have no idea but it doesn't look like any water intrusion and hopefully yours does last long I'm just hoping that they'll extend the warranty every time it messes up because that's too much money to just say oh well lol
@AB-dl1hz yea, no kidding... That's a lot... would cover pool cleaning serve here for half a year! Thanks for the heads up... I'll keep an eye on my tank.
@duckthis17 my original one started acting up after 6 months. I think I left it in the water for too long after it finished its cleaning cycle (it was in water for like 5 hours). I contacted customer support, and they had me return it and sent me a new one. So far, it's doing great. I make sure to remove it from the pool, though, when it's done.
@@JackofAllTrades1 Thanks for replying, hard to find any reviews other than Amazon itself, which I tend to be weary about. Some reviews claim there customer service is great and others say it's terrible.
@duckthis17 when I had the initial issue, they told me I had to just update the software. They then sent me a special cord that would allow me to update a driver that they emailed to me via USB. After that failed, it took me about 2 weeks of back and forth, sending them videos, troubleshooting, etc. Then they agreed to replace it once they were sure it couldn't be fixed by me. I completely expected to be sent either a refurbished unit OR my old unit that they repaired.... however, it was a brand new unit. So I was pretty happy with that. Overall, I would say it took about a month from start to finish to get the unit replaced. They were pretty thorough with testing it out before they decided to replace it, and I think that is what took most of the time. I was satisfied with the whole ordeal.
@@JackofAllTrades1 Interesting that they would send out a driver for update, which tells me the must have decent customer service. This will be my first robot vac, so I am hoping things go well. Amazon has been excellent in resolving issue's or refunding purchase price even after the 30 days (within reason). I am subscribing to your channel and hope you'll do some updates as time goes by. Thanks again.
@duckthis17 yea, first robot for me, too. I kept my manual cleaner just in case this didn't work out. I guess I could probably sell it now, lol. Thanks for the sub. I may do a "1 year later update" ... I need content ideas anyway. Thanks! !
