Inasmuch as I like the interview, there's a sense of monopoly on the part of this man. He proves to know all but he has forgotten that whatever he didn't tell us here many snails farmers are there to tell us on social media. Nobody knows everything but everyone knows something! I don't need to come and see you to know if I shouldn't buy market snails to rear or not!

I live in Virginia, U.S.A. I was researching various small farm startup information today and raising escargot snails came up as an option. Apparently, America had maybe only 2 snail farms. So this is interesting to me with low startup costs. But there's also not much information about how to raise them. How could I get more in depth information about how to set up a snail farm from the farmer? Email maybe?

You can use egg shells instead

you can also use chalk, the one we use in school to feed them and it's good in calcium

@@_Nanaagyei_sikapa eggshell is only good for baby snails! Oyster shells is about 70% calcium, snail shells is about 45% and eggshell is roughly 30%.
