Snake (MGS1) Sneaking levels 1-10 MGS 2 HD VR Missions Part 59 

There's an enormous spike in difficulty when you get to these missions. I suspect the final 17% isn't going to go very smoothly.

Playing this on the master collection now and I have to say these missions are pure fucking bullshit. Some previous missions were a grind already, particularly the one where you have to protect Meryl with the sniper rifle. I completely gave up getting the high score everywhere. But the MGS1 Snake missions are a whole new level of atrocity. You have no radar and the motherfucking guards can spot you from beyond what you can see on your screen. If not for my completionism I'd given up on this some 50 in-game hours ago.That being said, thanks a lot for uploading! You probably saved me weeks of frustration.

Huge thanks for this guide, started MGS1 Snake on variation and elimination since I thought to clear the hardest ones first, but I swear these soldiers just have bionic vision.

Going for the best time in these really teaches you how to quickly and effectively sneak by enemies in even the most difficult situations. Because of this I find the MGS2 engine the most fun to sneak around in, as I will sneak by guards running full speed just inches behind them, sometimes even brushing up against them causing them to turn around to find nobody there. I think of it as being a ghost.

i liked how they did that. the song is called "theme of tara" and it's from the very very first metal gear.

it's only for raiden, and snake, you'll have in the alternative missions section: bomb disposal, elimination, hold up and a 4th section that shows as ??????. you have to complete the top three first.

For the 1 st part of the last sneak i have an easiest option : 1 : Pick the USP and his ammo . 2:Go to the guard at the left and get back when he think to he see something . 3: The guard will arive : Freeze him and kill it 4: Hide his boody for prevent the guard if patrol at the top to see it .

Ah yes.. that vr mission. That reminds me with my childhood. I always fail on that vr mission. Jumped into the main story. Alwsys get caught by surveiliance camera

I just got to these missions, man they are difficult! No radar and the enemies can see you from across the map. I almost never know how I got spotted lol. I’m determined to complete all the missions tho.
