Might just be new strings that haven't been stretched, or likely it was already out of tune before he demoed it just from tons of random people picking it off the stand and noodling with it.
It sounds in tune at 3:50, but then goes out of tune after he used the bar at 3:58. You'll notice that he has to drop the bar a bit to get it to sound decent again.
The tremolo looks fun to play. The range looks pretty good and seems soft enough. Dunno about the single coils tho. Might want a humbucker instead (a bit thin and noisy)
I feel like Stainless Steel frets should be a standard by this point. I find so many guitars I want to buy, but I refuse to buy ones without SS frets. I chew up nickel in matter of few months. Sucks to see new models come out without SS frets.
Frets are all nickel, but they play like stainless steel, and they seemed to be specially treated like Gibson n Ibanez do to their nickel frets. I have the one in shell pink and it plays like a dream!
Mine is in drop c, intonation is very good. Neck shape is regular Jackson speed neck profile. Kinda similar to the “thin U” ones on ESP, super comfortable to play. To me, the craftsmanship of this guitar’s neck is definitely USA made level. Charvel actually raised the MRSP from 999 to 1050 this year. I got mine used off of reverb for 800, epic deal!
@@sebastianxu9084 I really want to buy one. Yea its a bit more expensive now. In europe its around 1200 dollars. There is only 1 store selling it and it is an online store so I can't try it out. I had an ibanez before and I hated the wizard neck. Now I have a jackson js 22 and I love that neck. You mentioned that it is similar to jacksons. Did you say it because both jackson and charvel are owned by fender or are they really similar/identical? I really want to buy one, but I'm kinda worried since I can't try it out before buying.
It's 2022... and still waiting... what horrible colors... DK22 has a Gold... but of course you can't find it... because no one want a freakin' Pink Guitar.
I much prefer Charvel's look compared to the AZs, so that with the lower pricing is win win for me. Only thing AZ's have that I wish the Charvels did is the SS frets.

I just picked up the SSH model from Guitar Denter yesterday. Doesn't stay in tune when using the trem bar. G string constantly goes out when using the trem and I'll be returning it. I really dislike dealing with Guitar Denter. Their guitars always have some kind of flaws in them (dings, dents etc..) and are always missing something else. How they can sell these guitars as new after being handled by tons of people is beyond me. What a shitty business model! David Schiedler, it's not just you. The SSH Primer Gray one is indeed starting to go out of tune when he's using its trem in this video. I'll attribute both the one I have and the one in this video as having tuning issues due to badly cut nuts
Hmmm... I like these. My only problem is that I would rather get that stupid orange one but in HSS and not HSH. They do seem reasonable on price too. There's a lot of good to consider here.
Blizzbee R. Charvel was bought by fender same as Jackson so all of them can use the same headstock if they want. Also I read online so it may or may not be true but I heard fender lost a lawsuit over headstocks anyway.
fair enough, nothing is new about a 2 point tremelo. I wish they would get one with a 6 screw tremelo set up properly all those bridges your bends will be off pitch on other strings.
its one of the main problems with any floating or 2 point tremelo system, doesnt matter if its floyd, wilkinson, kahler, they all do it to some degree. bend the G string, B and E will drop out and sometimes the bass strings too. A properly adjusted standard trem that shouldnt happen or as noticeably anyway. I think ibanez got it a bit better with the bridge on the SV series which is often overlooked too. Its what ruins all these bridges to me. But not everyone cares about bending.

No one in the world will stop me from telling everyone how bad Jacksons and Charvels are these days. Horrible! Even 1.000 dollar guitars sound like shit, besides the really poor craftmanship. Stop selling shit for gold!
