I had a badly beat up 18v Snap-on cordless grease gun I sent in to get rebuilt and Snap-on literally sent me a brand new one. Pretty good for a flat rate repair that's about 1/4 the cost of a new one, which I got anyway.

Newest 14.4 batteries are 2.5 amp hour.

I like the 14.4 line better the ratchets lights impact and stuff just work great for me

I’ve owned both and honestly I just had better luck with my Milwaukee stuff. I still have my snappy stuff in the truck as back up or if the apprentice is working with me I tell him to use them.

M12 and m18 have made serious inroads to the tool load out. However, my cordless ratchets and screwdrivers (with clutch) are dedicated snap on 14.4. The other day I was putting my oldest 14.4 battery into my pyrometer and read the date code as 2011. That's over a decade of service from the oldest battery without any need to ever warranty it 😮.

We have snap on in our shops and I like them. I have mostly milwaukee and I'm ready to replace the ratchets with snap on. Alot of people complain about the getting caught in the credit trap. Snap on dealers support Alot of local organizations like little league. Buy what you can afford and get what you want after your established and can afford it.

I haven’t tried snap on but I wanted to like the Milwaukee tools there’s just something about the way the weight is distributed that makes them feel awkward. Very top heavy.
