Pliers are as essential as they are diverse. Doc digs around his plier drawer and shares his favorites. The main brands are Snap On, Klein, Knipex, Wiss, and more Snap On.
Hey Doc, I have a question! One of the pliers in your drawer that you didn't mention was what looks like some Endura cable cutters with asymmetric handles. What's your experience with those? I've just bought a pair for cutting bike cables - they were pretty cheap, so I'm wondering how they hold up over time. I was attracted by the forged handles, as opposed to the folded sheet metal handles on most bike cable cutters, though I'm not a convert to the asymmetric shape as yet.
God the one thing I can’t stand about the snap on tools made in Spain is that the handle colours are different. I have the same spring loaded needle nose and the red is a darker shade while it looks like this green is a tad bright. Real shame
I work for a living and use my tools, they dont look like yours.I do not give a shit what you say . If you can spend that much money on tools, home made rubber bands are not an issue. Miss use off the plier what a lot off crap, if it does the job you use it.
Hey ass hat, what you all pressed about? He doesn't need your permission to buy new tools. Some folks are literally so consumed with jealousy that they can't stand it. It's his money he can waste it if he wants to. Hell, he can put it in a big pile and set it on fire if he chooses to. I like seeing all his stuff, so take that jelly somewhere else.
