Nuno Santos it’s probably dated, but the game still works. I think RE4 was a masterpiece, and the limited movement mechanics made up for a more intense and horrifying gameplay. I get your point tho that it’s weak for an action game

At first I struggled, but your video here made me realise the vast capabilities of the SD 865 processor! Not just for GC, but for many other consoles as well! You got a new sub!
PSP and PS2 emulation are very different things, + they have the same name but they are different games, the PSP version is like a lite version, it's not exactly the same
It’s not the phone, it’s the software. Phones have much more power than the ps3 even. But nobody puts in the effort to create a software that can utilise all that power to run the games. Once again, we are not lacking power, but compatible software.

It's incredible how far the technology goes, on my SD 835 device call of duty is unplayable but just three generations later is really smooth. Awesome 😎
I think Apple has anticipated this and is switching to ARM architecture coz in future these processor might overtake the desktop level x86 processors and these processors also have power advantage over them.

Nice vid dude, for more info ps2demon is a brand new emulator it needs some work on the graphic plugins to work perfectly also cod mw3 for the wii is a downgraded version for the wii, and you can upscale it to 3x, as dolphin emulator is the best emulator with a big team,If you want to run the best games outthere run first party, Nintendo titles like Mario and Zelda or...... for 2016 games you can go to dex mod turn the experimental feature ubuntu on turn on ubuntu and download all graphic plugins and steam to actually play ur steam library on the go with steam
@@drewhunter3929 well yeah because they are scamming you 10 dollars for a bad experience on an emulator. But Im pretty sure the 845 and the 855 series should perform the same as the 865 accros the board
@@javiermillan8795 I have borrow two phones, one with the SD 845 and the other with SD 855, i've tested some games with dolphin and both are the same, but with better resolution, the 855 lags less
For the Damon emulator it is just a matter of optimization , but the developers of that emulator are just too greedy and too lazy to offer us a good product , their upgrades are all fakes and do not offer a real performance upgrade, the last version basically runs the games the same as the first release , while the ppsspp and dolphin definitely boost time and time again with the new releases
100% agree with you. It's a really sad thing what happened to ps2 emulation on Android. Hell! Even the beta 3ds emulator offers better performance/ compatibility.
on PPSSPP they just disappear if you don't touch the screen for a while, on Dolphin just swipe the the screen down on top, click the "..." Configure Controls --> Toggle Controls ---> Toggle All. On Retroarch click on the "up" arrow on top, there's 6 buttons in a line, it's the last one
How is that god of war ghost of sparta lags compared to this in my windows 10 device and at 3x res it has framedrops.Its an intel core m3 8100y processor at 8w, apparently according to geekbench 5 that processor's power lies between the snapdragon 855 and 865 in single threaded performance (800-900).Its a dual core processor and given that im running ppsspp on windows 10 on an x86 processor it should run better but it doesn't. Why is that?Will installing android x86 and installing ppsspp on it improve the performance?Or is dependant on gpu?I think Intel igpus are better than adreno gpus or perhaps i am wrong?
Does this have a video out to hdmi via USB cable so you can play emulated games on big screen? I wouldn't want to run ps2 like that, but PSP and Gamecube maybe?
I don't know, current mobile processors are much much more powerful than a PS2. What makes it hard to emulate is the architecture in which PS2 was made is really not compatible with today's chips. As you can see in this video, running the same game in the GameCube emulator runs it flawlessly so the problem is not the chip being too weak it's just that DamonPS2 sucks and PS2 in general is hard to emulate
Why u need snapdragon 865 for just ps2 emulation ? I did that using just KIRIN 970, I thought u were going to do PS3 emulation somehow, which got me all HYPED UP but seeing the video I'm soo underwhelmed
why would you get hyped about PS3 when there's no mention of it in the title? Also which games are you playing since almost everything I tried doesn't run properly
Any idea why some of those games are still unplayable, although phones nowadays have more than enough power to run them? Is it a compatibility issue or an actual hardware limitation? Either way, I could not believe my eyes when I saw MW3 running on a smartphone. That's damn impressive!
The mobile Phones are getting more Powerful by the time :o In future you will play Battlefield V on ultra settings and the people will say: "These Graphics is looking ugly! But its a Phone i can understand it"
Damn MW3 .. my pc barely runs that game at 15 fps with lowest possible setting, that's how I completed that game.. it was surprised for me that my cellphone has that much of power.
something is wrong with samsung s20 ultra as all ps2 games works full speed no gliches on xiaomi mi 10 pro (snapdragon 865) same as samsung so Nfs underground works 3x and shadow of colosus works 5x resolution, but samsung have screen with 120hz and way way bigger resolution of screen on samsung compred to xiaomi mi 10 pro (90hz and small resolution of screen make all games 2x times or so faster than on samsung galaxy S20 ultra). i tested by my self ,shadow of colosus ps2 game on xiaomi mi 10 and mi 10 pro run on 5x resolution 60hz with motion blur enabled in game so full working ps2 emulator. try and repost video
I don't think so, the phone doesn't get too hot, my S7 is burning after 3min of COD (the playstore one) but this one never gets even close to those temperatures
