At the day 1 keynote, Alex Katouzian, SVP & GM of Mobile, Compute and XR gave the world its first look at Snapdragon X Elite. With Qualcomm’s revolutionary Oryon CPU, Snapdragon X Elite is built for AI and will unleash best-in-class experiences for the next generation of intelligent Windows laptops, with performance metrics that exceed leading x86 CPUs. Alex continued on to introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 - the world’s first mobile platform designed with generative on-device AI in mind. The platform ignites endless possibilities for console-defying gaming, studio-quality audio, intelligent AI-powered camera capture, and seamless multi-tasking every step of the way.
Snapdragon Summit attendees also got the first look at the Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platforms. With on-device AI, advanced connectivity, and ultra-low power consumption, these platforms are a breakthrough in high-quality audio innovation. Along with the Snapdragon platform announcements, Snapdragon Seamless was introduced, a combination of hardware and software solutions that use the latest advancements in low power, low-latency connectivity to unify different devices and platforms. Snapdragon Seamless will allow users to quickly and easily share from their phone or tablet to their PC for maximum productivity and connect their Snapdragon powered earbuds to both their phone and laptop for seamless hand-offs between all devices.
