Snapped My Mojave 4s in HALF!

I'm always looking for new spots to run my rigs and when I saw this spot I had to give it a go. Came back to test out the springs I upgraded to and this happened!
Look out for a future video where I complete the spring testing now that she weighs 13lbs with the 6s upgrade.
I may show a video of when all the parts come in and what it's gonna take to get this thing back on the road so stay tuned and don't forget to like and subscribe for more! Thanks!

How cold was it outside? Perhaps the plastic was not as flexible as usual. Together with the already broken bumper, that should explain the damage. On other channels, people have chrashed directly onto the front after heavy jumps and nothing happened. So I don't think there is a critical design flaw with this rig.

Thanks for this! It has been cold since I got it a few of weeks ago and I have been basically torturing this thing getting used to it. I know there were probably already cracks I didn't see but she'll be back to new in no time! I love this thing and couldn't be happier.

That sound. We all know it! Just part of the game, right? When that thing took off when you first put it down, and dug two perfect stripes up the grass, pretty much made me decide I’m doing this to mine too. That’s too sick man.

I had a similar crash once with my mojave 6s. Ran in the back of a tyre of a van with 40mph. Bent chassis and centre drive dogbones bent and lost. Stripped the whole car and straightened the chassis and replaced the bent/broken lost parts. in one week i learned the whole car. After almost 4 years still love my mojave! Heck i even buy a 4s mojave after seeing your vid! Peace!

The feeling is great, putting your car back together after a crash isn't it? I learned that way and enjoyed every minute of it 😁✌

that sucks man...major bummer. I really wish they had Alloy Shock Stand offs/upper gear covers for these. I had a simliar issue, even with a bumper support installed. It snapped at the Shock O - ring absorber connection on both sides. Even the replacements I found were Composite. Still an amazing first RC rig! I love mine!

I just took a real close look at this truck today and was really impressed by how structurally strong it was built. I thought it would take a sledge hammer to break it and I guessed you proved my assumption. With great power comes great responsibility.

Indeed. I now know to stay out of trouble in cold weather with it. It is a "desert truck" after all 😅

Sorry to hear that. I don't have a video replacing the chassis but it's pretty straightforward. I remove one part at a time making sure to take note where each screw goes and swap everything over. You can pull up the exploded diagram of the Mojave 4s for reference.
