Watch his lower body and the weight shift. A little unorthodox but the chain is almost the same as with a normal golf swing. Really interesting to see. Power comes from the ground!

That's it exactly. He gets his body and hand in the same position. Think about it. When you swing with two hands, what is the other hand doing? It's just there for the ride, and for guidance.

In a two handed golf swing, you get more power from your left arm. He’s giving up yardage for sure. He seems athletic enough to hit the ball well over 300 but says he gets between 250 and 300. It’s fun but not exactly beneficial

@@Psyplus I completely agree fundamentals give you a solid starting point. However too many people get stuck inside the box trying to swing a generic swing. Where all the pros have different backswings the important part is where you’re at at contact… I guess what I’m trying to say is 80 percent fundamentals. But leave yourself that other 20 percent to find where your body feels comfortable

What an amazing golfer and lovable character! I also play with one arm only (because the other one is missing) and my swing is far tamer than his, but I also tend to out-drive most other weekend golfers with 250ish carry. I have not practiced very much or put too much effort into my game but it all seemed pretty easy, especially within 100 yards I seem to have zero issues whatsoever, bunkers as well. Almost at single-digit hcp now.

This is sorta how I perfected my swing actually. I swung 1 handed for each arm, and then once i could consistently hit clean shots, I used both hands. Seems to help you train yourself to hit clean rather than with power.

Would love to see a mid or even longiron shot like that. Looking at the swing it looks entirely possible to get down. It is very clean. Bit wired geting it up in the "upswing", but the downswing looks quite textbook....just with one arm.

When I was a teen (30 yrs ago), I saw a one-armed golfer with a similar swing, except he addressed the ball with the club head in front of it and no backswing. It was amazing.

Saw this man rising on tiktok. It's something fresh that brings enjoyment to the sport which many see as 'boring'. He doesn't get the best range, but he looks cool af doing it.
