When I was 18, I dated a 31 old man. I didn't see anything wrong with that at that time and he clearly didn't either... Now I am 32. Sometimes when I see youngsters, I look at them and just wonder why.

Also I don't think people talk about how grooming isn't an age specific offence. Anyone of any age can be groomed, it is a form of abuse, and differences in social status, economic status and/or age make grooming easier. So the "they are 19 so its okay!" narrative? There's a legal argument to be made against that. EDIT: In the UK grooming is defined as: "Grooming is when a person builds a relationship with a child, young person or an adult who's at risk so they can abuse them and manipulate them into doing things. The abuse is usually sexual or financial, but it can also include other illegal acts." Adult grooming itself is not an official offense, but many the consequences of it are. Most commonly those listed in the Domestic Abuse act (2021). Respond, Operation REPEAT, and Small Steps are some organisations you can go to if you suspect someone is being groomed/radicalised. You can also contact your local Safeguarding Adults Board for yourself or someone else, they can give you advice and help you get in contact with local adult social care services, and the police if needed. If you're worried about yourself or someone else, please don't hesitate to reach out, the resources are available to you no matter your age!

I’m 21 and maybe I’m just ‘picky,’ but at this point I wouldn’t seriously consider dating people in their teens, even 19. Even just my ability to purchase alcohol and having a job that’s a step above retail seems like a huge power imbalance to me.

I have genuinely never been more creeped out by anyone as much as him, and I find it terrifying that he gets away with everything he does right in front of everyone’s face, to the point he brags about it. It’s sickening.

I am a 48-year-old Mom. I watch videos of younger people, but I DO NOT want to have any other type of relationship with them. When I was 19, I was "dating" a 45 year--old police officer. He took advantage of my naiveté, I was not mature enough to see beyond Hey this guy can get me into nightclubs and buy me alcohol. It wasn't my fault,it was the fault of the "man" in his 40's. Paul, grow up, you are the ultimate creep.

Ahhh…. As a health care aide that has worked in many nursing homes… if I saw one of my coworkers planting kisses on our residents, I would immediately report them. That’s so creepy. I’m so heartbroken that people like this are allowed in our field 💔

6:40 as someone who got taken advantage of by a much older man at age 19, i can speak to this. yes, i was old enough to make my own choices, yes i was even old enough to understand i was in a bad position and i ran as soon as i realised, but i was manipulated for weeks, and it took a while until i saw the cracks. he used his experience and his maturity, the things i wanted for myself at 19, and he used those things against me. i know i was an adult, but i i was still hurt by a much older man preying on me and my niaevte.

I need to dedicate an hour to this.

Him saying “stop messaging me!! i have too many already” is without a doubt just a way to get more people to do it. Specifically, young and immature people who take it as a challenge and then will feel special/whatever when he does ultimately reply.

It seems like a common tell of someone being a groomer/abuser when they IMMEDIATELY turn to intimidation tactics if confronted with any questions on their behavior, instead of trying ANY other option to dispell the suspicion.

When you're a teen, you think it's cool to chat with older guys online. It was mostly to pass the time, and I enjoyed having people to talk to. Now that I'm 26, I'm absolutely disgusted by the men that occupied my nights. Looking back on it, it seemed so obviously wrong to chat online in this way but when you're a kid, you're still innocent and the world hasn't changed you yet. This happens on every platform, since the internet has existed. Thank you for exposing this man. Keep kids safe.

Awe the care stuff really gets to me. I'm a manger in a care home and I would never let one of my staff like kiss a resident, that crosses so many professional boundaries. Plus they can't consent; what if they don't like to be touched. I've dealt with it before and always said it's different if they come to you, like if they want to hug you or give you a kiss on the check you can let them; but I would also respect somone that wouldn't. But no, there not pets you care for don't kiss them. TBF as well. It is a big red flag for grooming behaviours, being overly affectionate with people that are vulnerable that there's a pretty big power imbalance there.

I seem to remember an article that adults can be vurnable to grooming until like 24-26ish. The fact he hyperfixates on age 19 is insanely a red flag. He also acts extremely like a 20 year old in his tiktoks. Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you are not still in a turbulent point in your life where you can be unstable and therefore highly expliotable. Someone twice their age should absolutely know better than what this guy is pulling. He's not the first predator on Tiktok, and he's not the last.

That bit abt being 19 made me feel some type of way 😭 I was 19 when I met and had a sexual relationship with my then 35 yr old coworker. I was so creeped out when I learned he had a 16 yr old daughter. And then this man had a whole ass fiancé back in his hometown. I’m turning 25 this year and I feel disgusted when i look back to that memory. But I also feel embarrassed because “you know what you’re doing at 19.”

As a model I can tell you that models and photographers sometimes do rent out an Airbnb for shoots . But when you get approached by a "photographer" who wants to take photos of you with their phone it's an immediate no.

I have a friend who is a lot older than me. We have never once been alone together, he doesn't call me gorgeous, and he definitely has never asked for feet or towel picks from me!!! It's okay to have younger friends... if that's all they are friends. this man is not trying to be friends he's just a creep.

Having friends in different age groups than yourself is not by itself creepy behavior and can be valuable for everyone involved, but seeking out and specifically befriending a whole collection of teenagers does make you look very suspect. I am in my 30s and have friends both much older and much younger than myself, and my younger friends, many of them teenagers, see me as a mentor/older sibling they can come to for advice, and I would never betray or abuse that trust. I think having an older friend who they can ask about things they aren't comfortable bringing to their parents is important for a kid, and not everyone has an older sibling/cousin/aunt/etc they can go to. But I met my young friends through interests we had in common, not because I went out looking for friends of a certain age. Because THAT would be creepy. And no matter how you meet them, there are behaviors that are just not okay, and this guy is showing SO MANY of them.

To clarify, I don't think it's weird to have one or two friends in a different age group than you. But if all of your "friends" are significantly younger than you and you don't have any friends your own age or older, that's weird

Even aside from the grooming risk, the sort of use of Snapchat solely to privately message is just another thing that increases the parasocial relationship which in itself can be a morally gray area and has it's own risks. Even if you're using it for totally innocent reasons, the lack of concern for boundaries is at best an oversight.

I hate how even if you save the conversation, the other person can override it by deleting the ENTIRE conversation. I get Snapchat is all about privacy, and that’s what everyone loves about it but let’s be honest that is leaving more room for misuse and abuse than anything else. Any normal person wouldn’t mind their conversations being saved for forever if they aren’t doing something wrong. Too many predators on there, and cheaters like to use it because of that purpose too

I actually have my own story in regards of this man that dates a few years back when I was younger and first moved to England. All I can say is that it wasn’t pleasant and was on a different platform that I no longer use anymore, I still have the account and everything saved though. If you do see this comment, if there will possibly will be a part three coming, it would help provide this creepy as well as aggressive behaviour has been going on for a good amount of time now. It’s just a very unpleasant thing and my own personal thoughts lead me to worry about the aggressive manipulation he could possibly be trying with other females. Anyway thanks for making this type of content in general, it gives more of a voice to certain topics that don’t normally get a voice so thank you.

For me, it really comes down to the "wtf do you have in common with someone that much younger?" And if I'm not seeing a legitimate reason, I'm going to question your motives. I'm 25 and I have an 18 year old brother. He's my brother, I love him. And sometimes we have a really good chat or go to a movie we both wanted to see. But if we weren't related, I wouldn't be hanging around somebody that age. 18 and 25 don't even sound so far apart, until you realize that I have 7 years on him. That's a whole four year degree (and a "victory lap"), 5 different apartments, and the start of a career. So then what does a 40 year old have in common with someone his age, or MY age for that matter?

Guys like this seek that power imbalance so that they have control, most likely because women their age wouldn't tolerate their bs. Bloody hell. Had an incident when a duty manager from work would send topless snaps to me and multiple other female colleagues. And he had a gf. I was in my early 20s and he was maybe a year or two older, but regardless of the age thing there was still a clear abuse of power/ predatory behaviour. As Paul has such a large reach there’s going to be that imbalance, it doesn’t matter about the age. Snapchat is just so creepy though, I’m 30 now and haven’t been on it in years and don’t plan to again!

Hey, just so you know you can actually save chats and photos (videoes are kind of a toss up. Sometimes it will let you save sometimes not. Never figured out why some save and some don't. Maybe something to do with length?) on Snapchat without screenshotting been that way for a while. You can set your chats to disappear immediately or after 24hrs and having them disappear after 24hrs gives you a chance to save them to the chat. If you want to share them however you do have to either screenshot the chat/photo or download the photo. But I believe it notes in the chat when you perform either of those options.

Well actually Snapchat does archive everything but you must download the data from the specific account. Everything that is deleted and sent will be found back in the actual Archive… I really hope nobody uses this information to expose creeps and cheaters and do harm to others that would really suck huh. Having that one app where everyone thinks they can get away with it it would realllyy suck for everyone if everybody would be aware of this hmm🤭

To be honest, listening to the comment about 40 year old influencers in the beginning made me lose interest in this video. The internet is not solely a place for young people.

I’m 23 and I feel a type of way about getting to know people under 20. Now I’m not friends with a lot of people, but all my friends feel the same way and couldn’t ever think of being with someone of that age. Even with ‘small’ age gap of 18-23, there is still a massive power imbalance and are in completely different chapters in their life. I just cannot see how guys can justify or even feel the need to be with girls that are so much younger than them.

I don't understand how this man is saying you have to be 18+ to be his snapchat friend as if that magically makes him less creepy. A lot of 18 year olds are still highschoolers and live with their parent/guardian. I know when I was 18 and 19 I had some terrible experiences with men because I didn't know how to set boundaries yet. In my opinion its still predatory and gross for a man in his 40s to be talking to fans who aren't even in their 20s yet (especially people who may be his fans) even if it's legal.
