As we have talked before it’s unfortunate that in illinios we can only snare beaver in water, that being said it’s another tool I’ve included on my beaver line especially on public land. Loosing a couple dollar snare dye to theft is easier to stomach than a good beaver trap. Thanks for sharing, you always have excellent instructional content and cover the question of why it’s done.

Am a big snare guy. I caught my first beaver on a snare.

Again, another great video. We have limited 'rights' in my neck of the woods (Midwest Illinois) as I understand the laws, to use snares or cable restraints. Maybe one day that will change. I'm not certain who to contact about this subject but am willing to send a message.

I sure wish someone would have given me some snares instead of some traps. I basically have to force myself to use snares. This is because I didn’t have anyone show me truly how to use them beside you Dale and your videos. This season I intend to use more. Thanks Mr. Dale for this video.
