I once saw Knower open for Kamasi Washington (or maybe it was Vulfpeck, can’t remember at the moment) at Red Rocks Amphitheater and I accidentally made Louis Cole drop his drumstick in the middle of a solo just by thinking about it. I know that sounds crazy, but that’s 100% what happened. Freaked me the fuck out.

I would imagine it's incredibly difficult to play a tasteful drum solo along all the random stuff Jeff Coffin is playing. Sometimes it looked like Louis was about to play something but had to adapt on the fly, because Jeff was going places he couldn't immediately follow. I would probably be upset with the way the supposed soli pretty much turned into a sax solo

What a challenging piece for the singers! The support from the keyboards and guitars is so staccato that it makes it almost all about melody and bassline, But I'm sure they wouldn't have it any other way, you can tell they want every challenge and to take it all to the n'th degree, and beyond!
