I bought something I had not even paid attention to, the Guerlain Abeille Royale set, as the Sales Attendant in the Beauty Department put the "water" on my skin and I saw the incredible difference. I left work early to view the clothing. I find it is easier to see clothing items online than the store itself. The pants I wanted had sold out in my size. Thank you for your insight.

It cracks me up when Erin says a 30” inseam is great for petites. My full length inseam is 25”. Even a 28” inseam with heels is too long. I only buy pants/jeans if the come in petite. 🤷‍♀️

Woo hoo, just received my Avec Les Filles Moto jacket that I ordered on your recommendation. LOVE, absolutely love. What a heritage piece that I will enjoy for the rest of my days! FYI, I am only 5' 3" and almost all jackets are wayyyy too long in the arms for me. These are a bit too long but totally do-able. My regular size was perfect. The color is delicious and bonus: the lining is a super-cute, vibrant and colorful print. I see some people complaining about the shoulder epaulettes online. I see what they mean but I am just going to use fashion tape to secure them down. Easy peasy. Thanks Erin, absolutely love this and you were the only influencer I saw that mentioned it!

After perusing the items, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't find any Jackets that came in Petite sizing. They used to always have few leather jackets and maybe a coat or two that were in Petite sizing. Sleeves aren't something that are easily alterable, particularly Moto jackets that often have zipper on the sleeve. Good thing that leather jacket I got several years ago that was Halogen brand is still holding strong. Nobody wants their sleeves getting soaked just trying to wash your hands lol :)

I would love those Reiss flared pants and will likely try them. I’m 5’3”, most flared pants and jeans don’t hit right at my knee so alterations don’t work. I wish Nordstrom carried Reiss petite range! I’ll put in a good word for Wit and Wisdom itty bitty boot cut jeans In petite: flattering fit and perfect length. The denim is thin, but all the better for packing and travel. Mine still look great after 3 years of frequent wear.

Excellent video, thank you for sharing. Tbh there’s nothing really exciting in this years sale, again. The jeans look nice. The past few years the quality of the items they offer in the sale (and in general) has gone down. It’s sad because people that want to buy quality items can’t find them. Nordstrom has so many polyester items that cost as much as silk and it’s not worth it.

Much appreciation for providing recommendations on various price points. I do find the more expensive items more attractive. I wonder if it is actually the item or model and how the item appears on the model!

I have a comment and a question. 1) I love your Nordstrom anniversary sale highlights but I have to say, jeans are very body-type specific. With my waist to hip ratio on the curvier side, none of the brands you like would work on me! Of course they list measurements so I chose a Good American style and an AG style that I hope to get. 2) My question is about fit specifically I was looking at trench coats. As you noted, there are tons of trench coats. Looking at measurements, my bust is one size bigger than my waist and hips. I can buy the bigger size but that makes for some extensive alterations. Ahh, I have very long legs, so most of these pants, actually all but one, are too short for me to be "regular, not cropped length. I cannot wear heels with jeans bc they are NEVER long enough. I have let the hem out of most of my pants, and that works sometimes but not with jeans. 33 inches is a good length for flats and 35 for heels. Not many options. Love the blue colors, too.

@busbeestyle I know how much Erin loves Mother jeans and I’ve never tried them… what better time than discounted Nordys! The Mother hustler ankle fray jeans she wears in white and is planning to buy in the black sort named color from the sale, Erin is 5’4, I am 5’5.. maybe 5’5 and change.. I know not as tall as 5’6… however I do have long legs, and with my pooch belly LOVE the high waist and no longer required to attempt to wear super low rise jeans 🤣 Do you think the hustler ankle linked in this video would be too short for me? I am looking to buy a pair of black jeans that are a crop style vs a floor length style to add to the versatility of my jeans selection wardrobe (like Erin I love love jeans!). I have been wearing size 28 Topshop jeans recently at 5’5 145 lbs…. Including white jeans which wearing 28’s is sized up in the versions I have. Had to drop to size 28 Madewell Jean shorts which I sizes up in originally and lost weight - I wish those were on sale to buy a 27 for my shorts collection of sizes. I love my Whetherly jeans for when I gain weight because they are much more forgiving size wise. I can wear their labeled to 6&8/28 & 29’s when I’m up an extra 10+ lbs weight gain. So diff brands fit so differently. The Topshop jeans I recently bought in size 28’s I notice are cut much smaller/less forgiving around the waist.. so days I’m particularly bloated from eating or PMS, it’s not always easy to button them over my gut 🤣 But they fit everywhere else and once you get the button done they sure are stuff jeans enough to hold you in! How do Mother and AG and other common brands that are Erin’s favs compare to the way Madewell, Whetherly, and Topshop fit? I don’t know how to size myself or do I need to order like 3 pairs of same jeans to try on etc lol phew shopping is exhausting and I haven’t even gotten to the mad dash of throwing things into my checkout cart yet because I have to wait until the 13th!
