Great video. I’m 63 and for years I did not wear shorts out publicly b/c of my age. Then this summer I looked at my legs and realize I have no varicose veins, thin ankles, great calf’s, so I started wearing them. The shorts hit about 2-3 inches above my knee, but dang! They look great! It feels different, but good! It’s so nice to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. And I love how you styled the print blouse and white jeans. Going to replicate that look too! 👍

Thanks so much for asking about hats! For some reason I randomly started buying and wearing them about 18 months ago. Had to buy 3 hat trees for all of them and now need even more. Went out this weekend with some friends. Haven’t been out in a while. Didn’t know what to wear. After seeing this video, I got some great ideas. I parred a belt (I never would of thought of this) with a plain over sized dress, and instead of flat saddles I swopped for a pair of high wedges. I looked great and got so many compliments. I was thinking the same thing - I always feel so drab if I'm out for a walk or even on vacation where I want to be super comfy cause we will be walking for 8 hours. This would be a great video. I love the how to dress up an outfit, but that may be 1-2 times a week for me, the rest of the time I'm pretty low key but would still like to take it up a notch if I had to.

I love all the recommendations! I am 49 and after being out of shape the past few years (thanks memonpause!) I finally lost the 15 pounds that was making me unhappy and started lifting weights. But many of the style ideas belts, tuck-ins etc… are great if you don’t have a tummy (which you don’t) but as a woman who does pleats, belts and tuck-ins all make the tummy appear bigger. I love this kind of video. You break it down so clearly and show how simple it can be. If you have issues with cheap earrings you can also get titanium earrings that won’t cause irritation but are more budget friendly. I use mostly piercing jewelry like BVLA because the backs are flat so you can sleep in them.

I love this channel! Your positive, fun attitude always perks up my day. I also really appreciate that you are size-inclusive with the brands that you choose to endorse and with the tips & tricks that you offer. Turning 40, being freshly single, on a weight-loss path AND revamping my professional life are a lot of things to sift through, so it's nice to be reminded that we don't have to wait until we reach all of our goals (or can afford a massive shopping spree) to dress how we'd like.
