I’ll keep my Kohler engine. My best friend just sold me a RZT S46 for $1200 low hours. It was his late fathers. My buddy knew I needed a mower so he... His father mowed less than an acre with it. Lol. He was a good guy. Not very smart when it came to mechanical stuff (yes, it’s something his father and I use to joke about. Wouldn’t say it if I hadn’t said it to him first) but very intelligent otherwise. So far I love it. Any suggestion in regards to the RZT S46?
Interesting move to Lithium Ion on the electrics. I can't help think that might be more about market recognition than suitability to purpose though. I looked at the older zero turn electric a couple times but the lack of attention to self service and Winter battery storage without a heated garage put me off. Would love to see in one of your reviews deck removal and installation. You've got to get under those decks and a lot of us aren't in shape to just drive it part way up a ramp and crawl under there. Shopping for a mower now with and for my 80 year old Dad and finding something he can deal with the deck on is probably the single biggest issue.
Well that's some review. 2 ply or 4 ply tires? It holds how much fuel? The deck is what gauge steel? Which transaxles does it use? What size are the tires? How does it differ from the competition? What options are available from model to model?
Mark, do you have a video explaining how the new owner sets up his zero turn Cub Cadet once it is delivered? Sounds complicated. Does the mower come with oil already in the engine? Thanks, Dennis
Dennis Setzer if you by it from the dealer ship they should do a full service an set up but delivered to your door always go through a shop if u don't know much about mowers. At work I just had to put in a whole new 20hp brigs bc the owner changed the oil an did not tighten the oil filter all the way an it leaked out an it blue up
Not sure why you call that a review, all you did was show some video, a review should give some criteria on performance or a rating. This is a video catalog at best.
@@mct8888 Sorry, but they dont. Cub cadet is owned by mtd and either uses Kohler, Kawasaki, or Briggs and stratton. Mine has cub cadet stickers all over it,but its stamped kohler on the valve covers, along with the model number and manufacturing information.
@@ciphercode2298 not true, do some research. Cub has certain models with Kohler, B&S, or Kawasaki engines, but the 679cc EFI engine is made by Cub Cadet. MTD started making their own engines in 2008. So…depends on the model.
