The Tractortread youtube channel is all about Tractors, implements, loaders, backhoes, lawn tractors, garden tractors, push mowers, weed eaters, snow plows, snow blowers, Cub Cadet, Kubota, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, and many more. I have "How to" videos for the beginner and helpful tips and installs for the experienced mechanic. Send me an email if you have equipment you would like me to review.
The problem with all these videos is that they're going into ground without any rocks. Were I live it's two rocks to every dirt and some substantial sized rocks too!
Having had a Craftsman 1000 kholer for many years and still running but it's time to upgrade. After lots of RU-vid and Google and physical researching I went to a FERRIS Dealership TOPS. In my area Harlingen TX according to them nobody has any 42" or 48" available not even the warehouse, they'll have to be made and it'll take around 2 to 6 months to a year. 8-5 Hrs of operation and they're always jammed with people needing service but they don't can't help anybody. TERRIBLE customer service so just imagine trying to get parts or maintenance. Stopped at a KUBOTA and customer service was fast attentive huge store and fully stocked organized plus they have many Kubota locations everywhere. 4 year warranty too. Bought the KUBOTA 42" Z232 Kawasaki zero turn with free delivery next day. Very happy with SERVICE and feel confident about continuing business with Kubota and will be buying more from them .
This was very easy although the 2 videos I watched before yours were slightly different when feeding the line through. Your video showed where you look right through the center to be able to feed your line through the other hole unlike the two other videos I watched. Making this video on replacing your line very easy to do. Thanks again
Anyone else have a problem with the other pulley (opposite the idler pulley) coming off? My mower is only about a year old and damn thing came off while I was mowing. The bolt vibrated loose or something and got lost somewhere in the yard.
i just ran over one of the soft, expandable hoses & it's currently wrapped around the mower blades--i'll be def referring to this video to remove the deck 😂
I did it like you said but I took the bump cover off afterwards and all the line was in one groove. Tried it and it worked until the line stopped itself from coming out.
Marc, you absolutely save my day buddy. My echo string trimmer ran out of string way out in my field. I had extra string on my tractor … and fumbled around and took the string feeder apart, trying to insert new strain. I had no idea what I was doing. Not only diid fail to figure out how to put string in it, I couldn’t even figure out how to put the damn thing together again.😢 Luckily, I had my cell phone with me and decided to Google the instructions I needed. Several videos showed you how to feed string into the trim ahead … they didn’t help me as my trim head was a part. Now desperate, up comes your video … which showed me not only how to take the damn thing apart, but how to put it together again and load the string Walla👍👍 thank you Marc. YOU SAVED THE DAY!!
I didn’t grow up with a dad to teach me these things, and I greatly appreciate people like you, who takes the time out of their days to teach people like me. Thank you
I bought the the craftsman version ZS6500 of this a couple years ago and it’s been an absolute tank zero issues and they are better on hills because the front wheels are fixed and not caster wheels 150 hours later no problems and runs great still Still better then using a basic lawn tractor
This is a very good video and straight to the point. I like that. I just bought this model last week at Home Depot to replace a 10 year old Echo SRM230. I will be purchasing another SRM225 to dedicate with a blade on it so I don't have to switch back and forth. Maybe you have done that video. Thank you
