Getting into bar/club fights is pretty much shameful in almost any circumstance. I'm not really with this idea that it's masculine to get in drunk fights out of loyalty. I'm not going to risk either causing or receiving serious injury just because my bro was mouthing off to somebody or vice versa - I'm gonna (try to) break em up and get em away from each other at the absolute most, and that's it. And I have to really care about the guy to do that much - if he's the type to be getting into those sorts of fights with strangers then he has it coming frankly and it's best not to associate with people like that anyways. I'd respect them more if they agreed to a 1v1. Or even had a duel-to-the-death. Demonstrate some equanimity and discipline in your conflicts. I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s, racism was very rare back then and it was hardly talked about. We all got along, spent the night at each other’s houses. Did everything together like any good friends. It was when Obama won the presidency that I watched in real time the government and the controlled media start making every story about race.
