www.longplays.org Played by Valis77 I love this game! But the sequel is the best one byfar. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
But now he's going to be fully playable in Rushing Beat X which supposedly takes place between Ran and Shura as if he never injured his leg in the first place. (Not that I mind but it feels kinda off to me)
I just beat this game via the NTSC version (Brawl Brothers) through Nintendo Switch Online. To unlock Rushing Beat Ran that way, you need to repeatedly press the following combination of buttons at the "Jaleco" logo screen: "B," "A," "X," and "Y." I found out about that code via the SNES drunk channel.
Here is a fun fact...unlike its sequel, there actually is a mode in the NTSC and PAL ports of the game which allows you to play the Japanese version of the game. The mode is accessible via a cheat code.
I honestly don’t understand why many Japanese developer didn’t think to do something similar. Like how the Genesis version of mortal Kombat you can enable the gore with a code.
@@Darkchao_berserko22I can. Memory constraints. I'm actually surprised they decided to splurge on memory to not just replace the original sprites, maybe the original had a few spare bytes in ROM that afforded them to do that
Saludos.
After I found how to do the flamethrower and "superstomp" with Slash, I never switched to another character (this was before 2000 and no internet in my home until 2010).
Fun fact: you can toss EVERYTHING as a weapon using the shoulder L and R buttons a few times before they disappear. You can toss food a few times before it disappears maybe twice then eat it. Weapons will just go away...
Obviously, Jaleco of Japan are big fans of Captain Planet. Too bad they couldn't come up with a Captain Pollution type villain. PS - Ma-Ti definitely had the worst power on that show!
I know this game as Brawl Brothers. Same game, different name. It's a nice 16bit-brawler, very recommended if you like stuff like the Final Fight-Trilogy!
Only the first game (Rival Turf) I would consider not good. The other two Rushing Beat games both deliver, but with The Peace Keepers, the Japanese version is the way to go.
Also known as angry mode, your character becomes invincible for a few seconds after taking enough damage from enemies and traps. During the phase, attacks are faster and stronger.
Nope. Just like Kintark/Big Al before him, Iceman/Dieter didn't make it to part 3, The Peace Keepers. Instead the terrorist organization Rick/Jack/Hack and his new team are up against is the Douglas Motors/Deutschland Moldavia Corporation led by Kulbach/Iago.
I used to play both with my brother all the time as a kid. I love SOR. Rushing Beat Shura is very weird and has a customisation option. This one was more cartoony.
+Ramiro1992 (Mr_X) , you are SUCH a fucking moron! I can name games that have FAR worse hit box detection than this game, such as Bebe's Kids, Iron Commando, Ninja Clowns, Hachoo...need I go on with some more examples, you dumb fuck?
@@Mr_x_19922 , your comments show you how full of shit that your grasp of the English language is, as well as how low that your intellectual level is, and how much of an insult that you are to the human gene pool. Take my advice or end up looking like the human version of an abstract art sculpture...your choice, fucktard.
