SNES VS Genesis "Brand-new 16 Bit" (Sega Genesis\Commercial) Full HD 

Looking back at this rivalry commercial, it really was a crazy time when great consoles were at a war. As someone who grew up with the SNES but still played Genesis games and no matter how many times I do play Super Mario World and Sonic 1, I don't have a definite side. Genesis may have Blast Processing, lower cost, and a decent larger library, but you can't beat the overall quality the Super NES had when Nintendo was at its prime. Loved both consoles and missed the '90s.

This is a great commercial I love both Mario and sonic though I’m leaning more towards sonic since his game series has a lot more story ideas but I can respect super Mario for giving me a positive influence as a kid

This was the commercial that got me to buy the Sega Genesis

Man, it wasn't even as malicious as I thought it'd be; it was well done for being simple and gave Sega and *Sonic* positive advantage.

Current Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can access SEGA Genesis games on the Expansion Pack plan. Ironic to think that Nintendo made the SEGA Genesis replica controller and developed the SEGA Genesis - NSO app for the Switch.

This is why Sega genesis become the best selling video game console over SNES.

I am convinced: After over 30 years we have actually no idea, what "16 Bit" stands for, but 16 is more than 8 and that makes it better.

Great commercial. Luckily for me I grew up playing both SNES and Genesis. While there are a lot of things I like about Genesis though I definitely preferred SNES with the better controller and generally better games like Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid and more. Sega had Sonic and a few others but besides Sonic they didn't stand out as much to me

Man I love this commercial. Especially when he goes wow with all enthusiasm. Then the kid asks oh what's that. He's like oh that's just Sonic The Hedge hog for Sega Genesis, makes it sound like crap then he tries to go back to the Super Mario World with the radical colors haha.

The Sega fanboys back in the 90's were the WORST. "Sega is better than Nintendo because it has better graphics!" Graphics alone do NOT equal "better". I even remember telling them that back in the day, but their response was ALWAYS the same, "No, Sega is better because it has better graphics!" SMFH. Don't get me wrong, I liked both Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, but they both had their pros and cons. Nevertheless, the Sega fanboys were damn annoying back then! Just saying.

Nintendo weren't pussies back then, rivalling Sega and just making some random stuff for no reason. Now all they do now is make either re-makes or mid games, treat their customers and fans like shit, and they just sue whatever has a Nintendo brand in it, no matter how much love is in it. Hell they could sue Sega for this commercial if they feel like it.

I like both the same way, but I bought an SNES just because I counted and it has more games I like. (this was more or less in 2019/2020, but I think 2019) If there's a game that I consider equal in both platforms it's Pac-Attack btw, especially the soundtrack because they're both bops
