Expert Sniper Richard Maynes returns to Gamology today to react to something a little out of his element - Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. Describing it as a GTA/ James Bond hybrid, Richard walks through various missions exploring the settings, teammates and goals to identify what the game has got right and wrong. There are some great tactics included in the gameplay, like sticking to corners and walls whilst sneaking and using the enemies vehicles as a Trojan horse. But sometimes it’s easy to forget it’s a quiet mission and just go in, all guns blazing. What did you think of today’s video?
The gameplay takes place in an open-world setting in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, where players engage in tactical cover-based shooters from a third-person perspective with an optional first-person view for gun aiming. A fictional elite special operations unit of the United States Army under the Joint Special Operations Command is represented by the Delta Company, First Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, sometimes called the Ghosts.

This is the wrong footage for Richard to react to. He's a sniper. There are some awesome ghillie missions in Wildlands.

Yes but wildlands guns are more diverse (more types) than breakpoint in breakpoint you have like 25 variants of M4, and Wildlands have better map.

@@deuces_shoeless That is always the problem when making games. Players want realism but too much realism will turn the game mostly boring for your average player. So the careful balance between fun gameplay and realism is difficult to find.

Idk if this was the best mission from wildlands for a sniper to react to. They should've viewed other clips of actual long range missions like the ones in Flor De Oro province of the game

The mission in where you need to neutralize El Cardenal is also good at long range and also in Fallen Ghosts in where you need to eliminate all the spec ops units

One of my favourite things to do in the Ghost Recon Games is try to take the longest range shots I can. The furtherst shot I've taken so far is about 650m in Breakpoints and 450m in Wildlands.

Breakpoints bullets drops in a few seconds there is NO way you hited 650

@@bn_2536 you just need the ballistic advantage perk and a nice cozy high altitude spot and you can easily hit long range dingers. The only problem for me is getting the AI to actually render in so that I can snipe them. Longest shot is about 520 meters.

Certian missions in Wildlands do not despawn enemies though. Usually stealth-heavy missions where you can fail by simply getting spotted.

Also gotta keep in mind that the Ghosts are a special op division, they have less rules and are more open to do what needs to be done right on the spot

Seeing as this is Drewski's footage, you should have Richard react to his Escape From Tarkov sniper gameplay. From using dense foliage to conceal his fiiring position, to providing overwatch to his team from a darkend room in an apartment building, I think Richard would find his tactics outstanding.

Not sure if he's reviewed Breakpoint but there are waaaaay better missions in that game on immersive, realistic. Drone patrols, foot patrols, missions where you need to get in and UT undetected much harder than Wildlands. You can hide bodies as well too which can help a lot on some missions.

8:25 Sync shot is what you're able to use in Wildlands with your 3 AI squadmates. Multi-player, it's up to the online people... theoretically much easier since no restriction on your own "sync shots" but this guy doesn't seem to use that option with fellow online player(s).

You guys should bring experts to react to some Assasin's creed 3 combat Gameplay, More specifically to the finishing moves on that game, there are some unarmed animations, sword animations, etc. That are very good!!! Nice video!!!

This almost makes me wish I recording me playing some Breakpoint. Then again, maybe not. I play those games real sneaky and real control. It's a screw up if I pull the trigger some of the time.
