Good morning! Today’s snippets is a bit boring - simply me just doing my daily 15 minutes of stitching with me nattering away! Thanks for watching! Jenny C
I love the sound of your needle and thread moving in the fabric, the sounds of nature in your yard and you sharing about your dear husband and friends and the little moments of silence. Beautiful stitching. Can’t wait for new book!
Oh Jennifer the sound of your needle going through the fabric is the best music, also enjoy listening to your natterings . I held my breath when you stopped to listen and find out what was in the bush thank goodness it was a lizard . I’m a tea drinker and nothing better than the first cup of the morning. Enjoy and thank you for sharing your time with all of us in RU-vid land . X
Please no music, your voice and stories are priceless! Thank you for sharing. I'm looking forward to your new book. Your husband and your friend Jane are super!
I absolutely love your work, and appreciate your videos, so very much! I bought all your books...yes, I am a 73 year old stalker of you. Thanks for everything you share with us! Idaho, USA.
Did anyone notice that the spider Jennifer mentioned was also stitching its web? If you look at the top left corner of the video you can see it's shadow. So Cool.
Thank you Jennifer, I find your snippets not only inspiring but relaxing. The hum of your garden and pop of your needle provides great comfort in these troubled times. Being able to create something beautiful, from what you have, and your imagination, is brilliant.
Oh how lovely are your videos! Your very inspiring. Your love of stitches, colours and snippets of life are wonderful. A breath of fresh air. Thank you. I heard about your book from Corrine’s posts and now have your book. I’m in the UK and really wish I was nearer, for now, your videos are my daily fix, so a big thank you.😊
Hi Jenny. Cataract surgery is nothing to be afraid of. It’s really very simple, and yes your sight will be clearer! If you have high levels of pressure due to glaucoma, for example, they drop dramatically. I do however acknowledge that not being able to swim for eight weeks is not great. Love , as always, your “snippets “. ❤
Thank you for bringing your snippet videos with their sunshine and birdsong to my breakfast table. I watch and learn as you stitch and appreciate the things that you're willing to share with us. That tea cosy is so cute!
I love to listen to you talk and stitch. Love the sounds of nature in your beautiful garden. Thank you for sharing parts of your life with us. A new book🎉 cool
Hi Jennifer.I have been watching your video's for around a week and thoroughly enjoy them and working through them when I can. I enjoy listening to your stories and would rather hear you talk than have music playing. I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes listening to your stories. Warm and best regards from Liverpool, England. 🙃
@@jenniferclouston7545 Your videos make my day, before I stitch I watch one of your snippets for my inspiration. Thank you for sharing a piece of your art.
Please continue sharing your life, tips, and the lovely nature sounds in the background. This may be the closest I ever get to visiting Australia! And it is amazing how many times you can proofread and still skip over a mistake. You aren’t alone!
Thanks for your kind words.. your books are a dream to work with!! I have a lot in my collection and your books are logical! Looking forward to no. 4 in June! Corrine
Thank you Jennifer.I look forward your snippets. Hearing your nattering is delightful, and watching you stitch is motivating for me..love😮 also your beautiful yard. Have had the surgery . Right after the surgery ..all I could say was wow 😲 even colours were strikingly vivd..sooo worth it..was amazing for me ty again 🇨🇦❤
I so enjoy your 15 minutes. Watching you sit there stitching I almost feel I should get up early and stitch before the household wake……but I’m sure they would think I’m sick😅 you won’t know yourself after cataract surgery I was amazed. I more to go. I do still need reading glasses for fine work but that’s good. Happy stitching
Oh, I love waking up early before the family! I am still a tad nervous. One of my students had cat. surgery a few years back and she can hardly see to se
Thank you Jennifer for your video. I love you nattering ,there are so many hints and tips in there. You are keeping me company while I cut out the materials for your little bag and in the evening I am sewing hexagons. I think I am getting the hang of retirement after all 😂. So glad it was not a snake in your beautiful garden. It must be so relaxing with birdsong , a pot of tea and your stitching.
the cat. surgery is going to go like this: The nurses in full surgical garb, gloves masks, the whole bit, will spend an inordinate amount of time draping you with paper. The doctor comes in, again in full surgical gear and fiddles around your eye for about 2 minutes and he will say, "Okay". and you will say, "is that it?". It is a very disappointing ordeal. XOXOX
Thank you for these videos Jennifer. 😊 I live in South Africa and it's always nice for me to listen to fellow stitchers and quilters from other countries. I enjoy your "nattering". Love your videos, I am learning a lot from them! 😃
love how this is coming along jennifer. so glad to know what was in the bushes!! i worried about it after you mentioned it in your last video. so happy that your dear husband is amazing in so many ways. thanks for sharing your 15 minutes with us today. linda from california
Hallelujah! Got my package yesterday! It is beautiful! It took a month to get it but worth the wait. Love the colors ! Love hearing your voice vs music. 🥰
I enjoy listening to you nattering away 😊 I love south African acsent & I adore hearing the bird life around you it sounds so serene I wish I could see it. I have ordered yr books, im excited to get them & start a project using them, I found you after discovering the lovely Corrines channel, so I'm grateful to both of you ❤I also have Judith's books which are excellent as you know, but you can always learn a different way from different teachers, so I can't wait for yrs 😊 oh fabulous you did show us yr surroundings superb just lovely, you see I comment as I think of things I want to say so I don't forget, so I keep editing thankyou for showing us yr gorgeous space where you create beautiful ( with a sigh of delight)
the cataract surgery is fine,.. very quick and not so bad a recovery.... and i do hope you wear sunglasses while you are stitching outside... that's one thing the eye DR said to do to preserve your vision... especially if you are developing minor hints of macular degeneration... and i had to learn to take breaks and blink frequently. i'm enjoying your videos and books... love the little twigs and bent stitches ... so fun!
Love your nattering , lol ❤ makes you more approachable 😊 Are you allowed to swim in a pool instead or is that not allowed either? My hubby and I swim twice a week for 90 minutes...it helps get the kinks out! Have a lovely day, Jennifer. 🤗 from 🇨🇦
Hi Jennifer, I’ve just received your foolproof embroidery book and can’t wait to explore more. Love listening to you natter and stitch. funny that you mention cataract surgery, at my eye check up a week ago my optometrist said to me not to rush into cataract surgery as I love hand stitching and reading. He said I would need glasses for close work. So who know’s what the future holds. Keep up the good work. I’m enjoying your snippets. All the best. cheers from Tweed Heads. 🧵🪡😎
Best wishes with the cataract surgery. A miracle op indeed. But when you said that you couldn't swim in the sea for 8 weeks following the January surgery, I thought that would be no hardship in January and February? But I live in England. Only the hardiest of the hardiest swim in the sea midwinter. I forgot it's your summer!!
I would rather hear the background of your garden and your "droning" than any music. 😊 I finally got my hexies put together for the handbag. Also, talking about spiders, we have loads of juro spiders, here in NE GA, USA. They are the only spider I know of that allows multiple spiders in the same web. Plus, their webs are multi dimensional! Their spun threads are really strong, too. My husband has taken one and literally stretched it between his fingers and it didn't break. Crazy, huh?
