casual reminder that this game is supposed to take place in a post apocalypse alternate future where most of the Capcom and SNK fighters are dead and the ones that are alive fight for order or chaos
Have y'all not read the Manga of this game? Apparently they're two boys that takes all the fighters (seen in the game of course) kidnaps em & takes em into to a different dimension of some sort idk I've only known this because of the fan base on RU-vid & of course I don't know the language of the Manga apparently it's a Chinese manga not Japanese huh strange isn't it...? Idk it depends if ya take the game Canonically or not some character are I guess Canon hell Violent Ken is officially Canon to Street Fighter. It depends it's your imagination I guess lol but I sure do miss playing this GOLDEN GAME despite not being popular like other Crossover Capcom Games.
@@sonicsupa99 SNK have made Ryu cocky in all their cross over games. He is only slightly cocky here but this game is more true to his character than the card battle and pocket fighter games.
Worst MC in any fighting game ever - imo - kind of way too boring... too damn serious Ironic too since this is a Basic franchise if you are into fighting games and all
Ryu is inda like a boring Goku, (with some Kenshin Himura background) C'mon Capcom give him more personality, he's kind of a hollow'ish human corpoation mascot though
Guile's ending touched me the most because it's deep and meaningful. Enjoy the living and make the best of every moment with those you care about before your time is up on earth.
@@xm_heecka.laddder.job_mx5962 Hey, Zero's story takes place after Mega Man Zero 2 even though his Triple Rod (the weapon from the first game he uses here) is destroyed and replaced by the Chain Rod. Also, Ciel is pretty much the only one he can make contact with in his story and also TESSA KNOWS ABOUT THE EVENTS OF MEGA MAN X.
3:43 This song is one of the best in the game, because it refers exactly to feudal Japan. It's dark. It matches the mood of Samurai Spirits, really. 4:04 This feeling of "I'm back home" is very good. That's why I like the endings of Shiki, Earthquake and Genjyuro. "The game is over, let's go back to feudal Japan, home!"
I kinda like Zero's ending since - like Mega Man Zero 2, which released the same year as SvC Chaos - it also sets up Mega Man Zero 3 with Zero's final quote in the ending: "X, I have much to do with this world you entrusted me with..."
I wonder if some endings change depending on if you beat Athena or Firebrand Edit: I looked it up, and only Dan, Demitri, Hugo, and Akuma have alternate endings depending on the final boss
I just love how SNK bridged the gap between the end of Mega Man Zero 2 and the start of Mega Man Zero 3 with a FIGHTING GAME. And they made a Red Earth character play a part in it too (Tessa). Also, I just love how Akuma ascended to heaven just to fight God in his ending. XD
@@VixXstazosJOB I don't think you are trolling. SF5 is so goofy. Even if the gameplay is ok its too goofy with the animations and voice acting to be as appealing as this game to me
@@VixXstazosJOB its not. They rushed this and basically put it out to fullfill their license with the Capcom brand. The stages are not complete and the mechanics are not. If it were it would be insane.
Think it's possible the portrayal of God, heaven, and Athena could warrant the sensitivity warning in the rerelease that came out 2 days ago? Edit: they finally got a response and it haves to do with some of the character interactions.
I'm very concerned about these Endings in SVC: Chaos, now granted that it's a Crossover Game meaning that it should be considered as Non Canon and not to be taken seriously, But I can't help that I'm still really curious about this, like can these Endings be considered as Canon in they're own respected Franchise? For Example: Shiki from SamSho in her SVC ending while she was teleported back to her World, she found an Abandoned Baby near the Shrine, this is similar to her Canon Story in the SamSho 64 Lore where she also had a Baby.
@@LabyrinthMaster but it's a different sprite for the character anyway, in that case Ken is just Ryo traced over, and Capcom just used the sprites that already existed but I like Capcom vs snk 2 better I also think they look better in Capcom vs snk 2 because they used the sprites we all are familiar with they look kind of weird in the style of Art if fighting at least it looks like AOF to me
Ciel is actually a recurring character throughout Zero's story in SvC Chaos! She doesn't show up in fights though - only in pre-battle dialogue, one of his victory animations, and his ending.
