Man, what an amazing plot these games had. I have never seen a combination of evil faceless corporations with arcane powers plots, they're like polar opposites and yet they made it work
They achieve something great through the years since the plot of AoF/FF/KoF, then they mixed with that AKIRA influence to build a great way to close the original SNK legacy. 🔥
Damn, I wish they had developed Ron’s character further, he would make an awesome boss. He obviously didn’t serve anyone but himself. Also, Whip’s ending suggests -the way I see it-, that Zero may be related to her and K’.... perhaps, he is their lost father? I see Whip crying after he revealed “the truth” (random lip movements), If someone can fill me in about that or if I’m wrong, please tell me.
No, what happened here is that Zero revealed to her that she was a clone of the original Sarah - K's sister - and that's what made her cry. The entire story from kof 99-kof 2001 is a clusterfuck of clone drama.
@@kyokugenryudisciple9349 it could be because at the time snk was going bankrupt, and it was believed that kof 2000 was going to be the last kof game for a very long time. Also 2001 wasn't entirley developed by snk but eoltih and others.
Benimaru just tried to fade a guy. In fact, all of these endings perfectly encapsulate the gravity of the situation, especially when you consider this was supposed to be SNK's last game.
Here how all ending(Some ending I had my expectation mean that my expect ending was different) K' Team(0:00) : K' and Maxima had been split by Vanessa and Seth. Whip manage to saved K' and Maxima Hero Team(1:11): After the shot ending; Ron appear and he attempt to killed Rin. Despite that; the attempt fail when Benimaru manage to use Lightning to save Lin but Lin refused to help. Had Benimaru did not use Lightning; Lin would be killed Ikari Warriors Team(2:41): Whip know the fact from Clone Zero and betrayed Ikari Warriors Team; join K' Team Fatal Fury Team(3:42): Terry was the victim of the missing but he was able to survive and meet Mary My expectation: Mary and Terry enter a fight with no ending; mark the end of Terry and Mary Art Of Fighting Team(4:44): King was stuck a canon but Takuma manage to save it My expectation: Takuma betray King and instead use that to kill King instead Psycho Soliders Team(5:13): Bao stuck a canon but she manage to survive somehow and return on KOF 2001 South Korea Team(6:17): Chang and Choi stuck a canon and their body swap. Kim and Jhun need to investigate what caused. Jhun did not return on KOF 2001 due to injuired Women Fighter Team(7:26): They manage to survive canon and Hinako and his friend goes to Hinako friend and they chase Kasumi; Yuri and Mai My expectation: Mai and Hinako battle it out with no ending Kyo and Iori Team Edit(8:36): Kyo and Iori learn the truth from Clone Zero and enter a fight with no ending Kula Team Edit(9:11): Kula destroy the canon and she falling. She somehow was alive at the expense of Candy; one of these Kula friend(Candy saved Kula) Edit Team(11:21)
Let's revise some facts, shall we? K' Team: K and Maxima actually got separated from Vanessa and Ramon Hero Team: Benimaru did indeed save Lin, but he didn't refuse to help him. He was badly injured because of the explosion and he was quite arrogant to accept Benimaru's help. Ikari team: Whip did not betray the Ikari Warriors. She actually bid them farewell before parting with K' and Maxima, where she joins the resistance Fatal Fury: Mary and Terry fighting just because wouldn't make any sense AOF Team: Takuma wouldn't betray King, as he knows she loves Ryo (though he is pretty dense to notice that) Psycho Soldier Team: Bao absorbs the shockwave of the cannon but is severely injured. Somehow part of his powers transfered to Kensou, effectively getting them back Korea Team: The impact somehow left Chang and Choi confused, to the point they thought they swapped bodies. Jhun did in fact miss out on the next tournament due to him getting involved in a street accident (thanks to him being distracted by Athena) Kula's ending: Candy sacrificed herself to save Kula from a blazing death after she destroyed the zero cannon

i get you man, i had a similar idea back around the early 2000s. i would have done something like this after street fighter 3 3rd strike had hit home platforms. my idea would have a womens team comprising of chun-li, maki and tiffany; sean would make up team shotokan with ken and ryu; t-hawk and dee jay would be e honda's likely teammates; ex team would have blair dame, allen and ace; dan and sakura would be blanka's likely teammates; birdie and hugo would have a sub like boss from rival schools; darun would be a likely teammate for r mika and zangief; team saturday night slam masters with wraith, rasta and one wrestler from another continent; team sf3 comprising of alex, elena and necro; another rival schools/project justice team which have bad guys; bosses team with rival schools final boss and two bosses from final fight 2 & 3 (rolento being one of them) and perhaps a darkstalkers/night warriors/vampire saviour team. this kof style game would tide sf fans over until sf 4 came out.
